Abstract: A system for remotely measuring the characteristics of water passing through a plumbing control device (PCD)) includes a sensor within the interior of the PCD. The sensor is configured to measure characteristics of the water to obtain measured data. The sensor is also linked to a microcontroller of the PCD. An antenna board is linked, and configured to transmit power, to both the microcontroller and the sensor. A mobile device is configured to locate the antenna board. The mobile device transmits power to the antenna board which, in turn, transmits power to the microcontroller and the sensor. When power is not being transmitted from the antenna board, the microcontroller and the sensor are powered off.

Abstract: An adapter device and/or a thermostat device for use during installation and testing of in-floor heating systems. The adapter device allows for temporary electrical interconnection between a mat and an AC power source, and includes at least one switch configured to actuate based on a user-supplied force (e.g., a finger press) to temporarily electrically couple the mat to an AC power source. The at least one switch is further configured to automatically de-actuate in the absence of the user-supplied force to electrically decouple the mat from the AC power source. The thermostat device includes at least one integrated power measurement circuit for testing and diagnostics of an in-floor heating system.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a fluid flow management system that includes a flow sensor coupled to a fluid source conduit and configured to determine a fluid flow in the fluid source conduit; a flow sensor controller to compare the fluid flow to a flow threshold and generate a leak trigger signal based on the comparison of the fluid flow to the flow threshold; a controllable valve coupled to the fluid source conduit; and a valve controller to control the controllable valve to shut off the fluid flow in the fluid conduit based on a state of the leak trigger signal.
