A carrier for delivering small interfering RNA (siRNA) into cells includes a cholesterol residue covalently bonded to oligoarginine. Mixing the siRNA with the carrier produces a complex-containing composition. Contacting a cell with the complex-containing composition results in delivery of the siRNA into the cell. Delivery of an siRNA targeted to vascular endothelial growth factor is a treatment for cancer. Methods of making the carrier and complex are also disclosed.

An anisotropic diffusion method and apparatus based on the direction of an edge are disclosed. In the anisotropic diffusion apparatus, directional pattern masking is performed to determine the direction of an edge in an image including noise, and values obtained through the directional pattern masking are convoluted to calculate the magnitude of an image. If the calculated magnitude value of the edge is larger than a threshold value, the edge of the image is preserved, while if the calculated magnitude value of the edge is not larger than the threshold value, noise cancellation is strengthened, whereby noise can be effectively canceled (or concealed) while preserving the edge representing the characteristics of the image, and thus, an image of high quality can be obtained.

An organic light emitting display includes an anode; an organic layer on the anode; and a cathode on the organic layer. The cathode includes a first region and a second region which are sequentially disposed on the organic layer in parallel. The first and second regions are formed by doping a metal oxide on an indium oxide matrix. The doping density of the metal oxide of the first region is greater than that of the second region, the metal oxide of the first region has a density gradient, and the density of the metal oxide in a boundary surface of the first and second regions is the same. An organic light emitting display according to the present invention can increase light emitting efficiency without using a resonance structure.
