Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for avoiding hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID) conflicts in scenarios where multiple semi persistently scheduled (SPS) configurations share the same pool of HARQ process IDs are provided. One technique involves receiving an indication of SPS configurations, where each SPS configuration allocates a set of SPS occasions for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. A conflict is detected between a first HARQ process ID associated with a first SPS occasion of a first SPS configuration and a second HARQ process ID associated with a second SPS occasion of a second SPS configuration, where the first SPS occasion occurs prior to the second SPS occasion. At least one action to resolve the conflict is taken based on predetermined rule(s), in response to detecting the conflict.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to mobility techniques that allow for dynamically updating a set of cells activated to serve a user equipment (UE) and the cell in the set of cells designated as the primary cell (PCell). An example method includes receiving signaling indicating a set of cells supported by one or more distributed units (DUs) under a common central unit (CU); identifying a subset of the set of cells activated to serve the UE, wherein a first cell of the activated cells comprises a primary cell selected from cells included in a candidate set of primary cells (PCells); and identifying another one of the activated cells to serve as the PCell if the first cell is re-designated as a secondary cell (SCell), wherein the other one of the activated cells comprises a cell selected from the candidate set of PCells.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may communicate according to a combined cyclic prefix and guard interval-based waveform format. The base station may transmit control signaling to the UE. The control signaling may indicate a slot configuration. The UE may identify a format of a slot including a set of symbols based on the slot configuration. The format may indicate that a first portion of a first symbol of the set of symbols includes at least two cyclic prefixes and a second portion of the first symbol includes a guard interval. The UE and the base station may perform wireless communications during the first symbol in accordance with the format.

Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a request for action for at least one control resource set (CORESET) and associated search space. The action may include configuring, activating, and/or deactivating the at least one CORESET and associated search space. The CORESET may be a dynamic CORESET with a predefined number of search space occasions or a semi-static CORESET. The method also includes communicating in accordance with the request. The request is transmitted using at least one of an uplink radio resource control (RRC) message, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a sounding reference signal (SRS), a random access channel (RACH), or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE may switch, in connection with the request, to a bandwidth part (BWP) configured for the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure a set of transmission parts each including different sets of time domain resources or different sets of frequency domain resources, or both, and may specify a waveform type for each of the set of transmission parts. In some examples, the base station may configure the set of transmission parts for a user equipment (UE) and, accordingly, the UE and the base station may communicate over a transmission part of the set of transmission parts via signaling that is based on a waveform type that is associated with the transmission part over which the UE and the base station communicate. The base station may control over which transmission part of the set of transmission parts the UE and the base station communicate via a configured timer or via explicit activation and deactivation signaling.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating semi-static TCI configurations are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after receiving the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes receiving, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages using the indicated TCI state until a second downlink message including a TCI state change indication is received.
