摘要： An apparatus and method for calculating flag bits is disclosed. The flag bits may be used in a processor utilizing branch predication. More particularly, the apparatus and method may be used to calculate a predicate that can be used by a branch unit to evaluate whether a branch is to be taken. In one embodiment, the apparatus is coupled to receive a condition code associated with an instruction, and flag bits generated responsive to execution of the instruction. The condition code is indicative of a condition to be checked resulting from execution of the instruction. The apparatus may then provide an indication of whether the condition is true.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed for an emergency feathering control of a wind turbine during emergency feathering of the turbine blades that is independent of a turbine control and pitch control unit. A variable pitch rate controller generates commands to drive an AC servo motor for blade feathering. A first pitch rate is obtained with a back-up storage unit, such as a super capacitor. The commands from the controller vary the pitch rate of the blades during feathering in an emergency to a second pitch rate that is different from the first pitch rate.

In one embodiment, a user input that includes at least one word or phrase representing a rule is received. The rule includes an identification of a subset of data and a statistical expression to be performed on the subset of data. The subset of data includes at least part of the data elements of a data set. Each data element includes information on an individual or group. Instructions are provided for translating the rule into an executable format. The executable format includes a translated identification of the subset and a translated statistical expression. The subset of the data is accessed using the translated identification of the subset. The translated statistical expression is executed to obtain statistics on data elements of the subset of data. The statistics on the data elements are provided.

According to one embodiment, a character scroll mode enables a user to conveniently and efficiently traverse a list in accordance with one or more significant characters of the items in the list. In one implementation, the list is a list of media items that are arranged in an ordered way. For example, the media items in the list can be arranged alphabetically. Besides the character scroll mode, the user is able to traverse the list in a quantity scroll mode, which may or may not provide acceleration.

摘要： Embodiments of a method and apparatus for reducing non-linear transmit signal components of a receive signal of a transceiver signal are disclosed. The method includes the transceiver simultaneously transmitting a transmit signal, and receiving the receive signal. A non-linear replica signal of non-linear transmission signal components that are created in the transceiver by a transmit signal DAC, and imposed onto the receive signal, is generated. The non-linear replica signal is subtracted from the received signal reducing the non-linear transmission signal components imposed onto the receive signal.

摘要： A rule engine for a computer network traverses a rule mesh having path nodes and path edges in form of a tree part and a graph part. The rule engine evaluates data packets flowing through a network to determine rules matched for every packet. Subsequent packets having same expression values as an already checked packet are not rechecked against the same nodes in the rule mesh through the use of a session entry. The rule engine performs a search on every path node of rule mesh to determine the next path edge to traverse. A Tree-Id and Rule Confirmation Bitmap that are indicative of path traversed and rules matched by a packet are generated at the end of rule mesh traversal. These are appended in the packet extension for subsequent modules of Policy Agent.

摘要： An device and method for a pre-sampling processing is disclosed. The pre-sampling device includes a single amplifier having a virtual ground node, and a feed back circuit connected from an output of the amplifier to the virtual ground node. The feed back circuit includes a plurality of switches connected to the virtual ground node. The switches control a plurality of programmable gain settings. The feed back circuit also includes an adjustable current source that is adjusted according to an estimated echo signal. A current of the adjustable current source is summed at the virtual ground node. The feed back circuit also includes a low pass filter that is tuned to suppress received signal frequencies above a fraction of a sampling frequency of a sampler connected to the pre-sampling device.
