    摘要： An image forming apparatus including an image forming unit, a unit holder, and circuitry is provided. The image forming unit includes a color toner unit, a replaceable black toner unit, and a replaceable special toner unit that form a color toner image, a black toner image, and a special toner image, respectively. The unit holder selectively and detachably holds the replaceable black toner unit or the replaceable special toner unit. The circuitry controls the image forming unit to perform: a normal operation, when the unit holder holds the replaceable black toner unit, that forms a color-black image; a special operation, when the unit holder holds the replaceable special toner unit, that forms a color-special image; and a toner amount increase control that increases an amount of the color toner per unit area in the color toner image in the special operation than that in the normal operation.

    摘要： The present invention is intended to provide a program management system for, upon activation of a program updating operation, automatically performing according to a mode selected by preparing plural kinds of program updating modes and previously selecting one of them. There is disclosed a program management apparatus adapted to perform a program updating operation of a program by downloading the program from a server which manages an information of the program to a predetermined terminal device, comprising: pattern setting means, which retains plural kinds of patterns each serving as a mode for giving an information inclusive of a program and updating such a program, for allowing a user to select one of the patterns so as to previously set it as a selected pattern; and program updating means for, upon activation of a program updating operation, automatically performing said program updating operation according to said selected pattern set by said pattern setting means.

    摘要： A computer assisted learning system comprises a storage server to communicate with a contents server that controls voice data and text data of English conversation and a mobile phone through a network, and a terminal device to communicate with the storage server through a network. The storage server downloads voice data of English conversation in an information storage unit from the contents server according to a direction from the mobile phone, sends the downloaded voice data to a mobile phone, and when it is requested from the terminal device to obtain a text of an English conversation, downloads text data of an English conversation in the information storage unit and sends this downloaded text data to the terminal device. The terminal device makes the request to obtain a text of English conversation to the storage server and when the text data of English conversation is received from the storage server, prints and outputs this text data.
