摘要： In a focus detecting device, a plurality of distributions of quantity of light regarding the image of an object to be photographed are formed by optical means disposed on the image plane side of an objective lens by the use of light beams passed through different areas of the pupil of the objective lens. The relative positional relation between the plurality of distributions of quantity of light is found by light receiving means, and the in-focus state of the objective lens is found by the use of a signal from the light receiving means. The optical means has at least three pairs of secondary imaging lenses each forming a pair of light distributions corresponding to the image of the object to be photographed, and is constructed so that at least two of the light segments passing through the vertices of the lens surfaces of the pairs of secondary imaging lenses intersect each other and at least one other light segment does not intersect.

摘要： An optical system for detecting the focus of an objective lens includes a focus detecting apparatus for receiving light intensity distributions reflected from an object and formed by light flux passing through two different areas of a pupil of the objective lens, and for forming a signal indicative of the focus state of the objective lens. A light dividing device is obliquely arranged with respect to the pupil areas of the objective lens and distributes the light fluxes which pass through the objective lens to both the focus detecting apparatus and an optical apparatus. The light dividing device has a dielectric multilayer film such that spectral characteristics of a wave length area in which the focus detecting apparatus has a sensitivity are substantially flat.

摘要： In a camera provided with a focus detecting apparatus in which the object light passed through a photo-taking lens is limited in its passage area by a field mask, the secondary image of an object to be photographed is obtained by a secondary imaging optical system and the secondary image is received by a line sensor and the imaging condition of the photo-taking lens is detected on the basis of the photoelectrically converted output of the line sensor, the opening area of the field mask is set so that the secondary image of the object to be photographed is directed to the both sides of the line sensor, and spot photometering sensors are disposed on the both sides of the line sensor and in the area to which the secondary image is applied, so that the photometering center of gravity is positioned substantially on the line sensor.

摘要： A device for detecting the focused state of an objective lens comprises a re-imaging lens unit arranged to distribute light from a primary image formed by the objective lens to form secondary images which have their relative positions varying with the focused state of the objective lens, the re-imaging lens unit including a plurality of re-imaging lenses having a plurality of lens surfaces; and sensing means arranged to sense the light distributions made for the secondary images and to produce signals to be used in computing information on the focused state of the objective lens according to the relative positional relation between light distributions for the secondary images, the sensing means having a plurality of photosensors. In detecting the focused state of the objective lens, the optical axis of at least one of the lens surfaces of each of the re-imaging lenses is decentered relative to other lens surfaces in parallel with the direction in which the photosensors are arrayed.
