摘要： A focusing device of simple construction that is miniaturizable, and an imaging device utilizing the same, are provided. A focusing device (10) comprises an actuator (11), a lens holder (12) that holds lenses (13a) and (13b), and a holder support base (14) upon which the lens holder (12) is installed. The actuator (11) comprises a polymer layer (51), a positive electrode (52) that is formed upon the holder support base (14), and a negative electrode (53) that is formed upon the lens holder (12). When the applied voltage between the positive electrode (52) and the negative electrode (53) rises, the polymer layer (51) deforms radially outward along the positive electrode (52). Along with this deformation of the polymer layer (51), the actuator (11) moves the lens holder (12) along the optical axis.

摘要： A time stamp is a device that prints time information on a time card inserted into a time card slot. The time card slot is formed to be inclined downwardly in the depthwise direction of the time stamp at an angle of 8 to 10 degrees or so with the mount surface of the time stamp being a reference. The time stamp has a mount portion to be attached to a wall surface. The time card slot extends in a direction orthogonal to the rear surface of the time stamp.

摘要： A sample inspection system has line sensors that generate sample picture data for layers of a sample disposed at different depths of the sample. The line sensors are arranged parallel to each other and displaced from each other in a vertical direction relative to the sample. A lens system focuses the layers of the sample at the different sample depths on the respective line sensors so that pictures of the layers at the different sample depths are read as line picture data by the line sensors. The sample inspection system includes an apparatus that stores the generated sample picture data, allows a planar region of the sample to be designated by a user for display, extracts picture data corresponding to the designated planar region for each of the sample layers from the sample picture data in response to designation of the planar region, and stores the extracted picture data as a set. An image processing apparatus displays on a display pictures corresponding to the extracted picture data of the respective layers by one of selectively displaying each picture individually in an alternating manner and simultaneously displaying two or more of the pictures together in a parallel or superposed manner.
