Abstract: A curtain kit comprising a sheet of curtain material having a sheet perimeter and a plurality of fastener elements spaced along and adjacent the sheet perimeter to be attached to mating fastener elements respectively on a structural member for hanging one edge portion of the curtain sheet from the structural member. The plurality of sheet fastener elements are positioned along and adjacent the sheet perimeter in a quantity and spacing over the entirety of the sheet perimeter to be attached to respective ones of the structural member fastener elements for hanging various other edge portions of the curtain sheet from the structural member so that the curtain can be hung from the structural member in a variety of alternative origami-like patterns. The curtain kit includes one or more of the structural member, the structural member fastener elements, a printed instruction sheet for hanging the curtain in at least one of the patterns, codes for identifying said sheet fastener elements, a cover member for hiding the structural member from view, and decorative accessories. A decorative sheet kit comprises a sheet of material having at least one hole therein, a decorative member sized for covering the hole, and a clip attached to the decorative member for clipping to an edge of the hole.

Abstract: An interchangeable window treatment system has a plurality of independent fabric components including, but not limited to, a base drape panel, a valance, strap members and at least one overlay drape panel. The strap members are positioned at spaced intervals along a top of the base drape panel, forming loops to support the window treatment system on a horizontal rod. In one embodiment, the valance, one or more overlay panels and strap members are removably secured to the base drape panel with dumbbell shaped button links having enlarged button heads on opposite ends that fit through openings in the fabric (eyelets, buttonholes, etc.) on each of the attached fabric components. Any of the fabric components can be removed, reversed, interchanged and replaced to change the overall appearance of the window treatment system according to a desired style, color scheme, or theme. Medallions or other decorative elements are removably attachable at spaced intervals along the valance, button links or strap members. In another embodiment, the straps and valance are sewn to the base panel, as one piece, and the overlay drape panels and decorative elements are attached by snaps, magnets or other releasable fastening devices.

Abstract: The objective of the invention is to enable the easy installation and displaying of a quilt, textile or similar on a vertical mounting surface invisibly. It also removes the critical need for leveling devices to obtain precision horizontal installation, still allowing for proper horizontal display of the quilt. The use of powerful magnets, center point mounting, and variable length rod enables display and easy switching out of different sized textiles. Using an adjustable rod across the full width of the quilt ensures proper support as well as full exposure of the quilt for viewing without the distraction of the mounting device itself being evident. Options in device mounting make it possible to remove and re-install without damaging the vertical surface on which it was mounted. As no compression of the textile is used with this invention, uneven fading (evident in most textiles exposed to light) of the quilt will not occur.

Abstract: An insulated glass window assembly including a cordless integral shade with level correction, a sliding follower, and an air permeable spacer assembly. Cords are eliminated by confining the window covering movement to one dimension. Level correction is achieved by pivotally connecting the shade bar to the supporting operator or shade support, so that the bar can be re-leveled by raising or lowering the bar against the IG spacer. The follower slides in a track on one side of the IG. The spacer includes an air passageway between the desiccant chamber and the space between IG space, and the hole is covered by an air-permeable patch to prevent unwanted leakage of desiccant into the viewable area.

Abstract: An interchangeable fastener, such as a magnetic hook is insertable within tracks of a rectangular backing plate which has a reciprocal fastener, such as surface magnet, attached to its back side. The two-part hook, such as a curtain hook, with an adhesively attached base plate supports a removable curtain hook plate. The hook plate is made to slide horizontally into a holder which can be a section of extrusion with lips which would retain the hook plate regardless of any magnetic attraction. The base holder is adhesively bonded to any surface by a back surface with pressure sensitive adhesive which is uncovered prior to attachment by removal of a release sheet.
