    摘要: An assembly for securing at least one rail to a substrate has a longitudinally extending rail plate extending across and secured underneath the rail and having a pair of opposite ends. Respective end restraints at the ends of the rail plate each have a jaw fixed to the respective end of the rail plate and each formed with a vertically throughgoing passage. A respective rigid anchor hood is fixed to the substrate in each of the passages with an outer surface of the anchor hood spaced inward from an inner surface of the respective passage and forming an annular space therewith. A respective rubber bumper mass fills each of these spaces so that forces transverse to the rail are transmitted through the bumpers to the anchor hoods.

    摘要: A rail-mounting assembly has a base frame formed unitarily with a pair of side members and a pair of end members generally bridging ends of the side members and having inwardly directed generally vertical inner end faces. At least one web extending horizontally between the members has a horizontal upper face and defines with the members a vertically throughgoing aperture. A top plate spaced above the base frame has a lower face having a portion spacedly vertically confronting the upper face of the web and a pair of outwardly directed outer end faces longitudinally horizontally confronting the inner end faces of the end members. An elastomeric body is bonded to each of the outer end faces and the respective confronting inner end face and to the upper face of the web and the portion of the lower face confronting the upper face.

    摘要: An insulating rail boot encasing a rail embedded in concrete, asphalt or paver construction, including, shared right-of-way, dedicated right-of-way and at-grade crossing. The rail and the rail boot are secured in place by retaining clips. The rail boot has two exposed top surfaces and a plurality of longitudinal cavities within the body of the boot. The top surfaces of the rail boot are sloped away from the rail and are coextruded with a multi-durometer material that is more rigid and tougher that the elastomer of which the boot is primarily constructed. An outside edge of each top rail boot surface is positioned flush with a surface of the road material. This cooperation between the top surfaces of the rail boot and the road surface facilitates flow of water and debris away from the rail.

The inventive rail system is characterized in that the packing, once it is adapted to the contour of the rail, fills the remaining gap entirely and is provided with electrical insulation.
