摘要: A data stream is encrypted to form encryption units that are packetized into RTP packets. Each RTP packet includes an RTP packet header, one or more payloads of a common data stream, and a RTP payload format header for each payload and including, for the corresponding encryption units, a boundary for the payload. The payload can be one or more of the encryption units or a fragment of one of the encryption units. The encryption units are reassembled the using the payloads in the RTP packets and the respective boundary in the respective RTP payload format header. The reassembled of encryption units are decrypted for rendering. Each RTP payload format header can have attributes for the corresponding payload that can be used to render the payload. The RTP packets can be sent server-to-client or peer-to-peer.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer instructions are provided for a session initiation protocol application design, development, execution, and integration. A framework with a framework controller, an application data object, transition handlers, precondition handlers and post condition handlers is provided. When a message is received in a SIP application, the framework controller determines a state of application and parses the message to update application data by using corresponding handlers. The handlers for each state are specified in an input markup language model defined by a user externally via a Web service accessible component.

摘要: A secure digital content delivery system includes a content provider and a content user. The content provider delivers encrypted content to the content user in response to delivery requests. The content provider generates encryption algorithms on the fly and encrypts the content prior to delivery, using a different encryption algorithm and key for each content delivery. The content user subsequently requests access permission from the content provider, to access the encrypted content. The content provider grants access by generating an executable decryption module on the fly and providing the executable decryption module to the content user. The content user decrypts the content and accesses it on the fly, using the executable decryption module. The accessed content is then re-encrypted using a different encryption algorithm and key, to preserve the integrity of the secure content delivery system. The content delivery system uses a programmably configurable protocol parsing engine to encrypt and decrypt content.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a dual processing system capable of ensuring real-time processing in a protocol conformance test. A protocol testing device performs a test on a layer under protocol test provided in a device under test. A communication device processes the protocol of a layer below the layer under protocol test between the device under test and the protocol testing device. The communication device processes a protocol test message, requiring real-time processing, instead of the protocol testing device, and transmits processing results for the protocol test message to the protocol testing device. The protocol testing device processes a protocol test message, not requiring real-time processing, and determines the conformance of the layer under protocol test provided in the device under test based on the processing results for the protocol test message.

摘要: Generating program code to be used by a protocol analyzer based on definitional information relating to a data protocol. A protocol database that includes definitional information relating to characteristics of a protocol is stored. The definitional information, which is expressed in a computer-interpretable format, is processed to generate program code expressed in a programming language. The program code incorporates the definitional information and includes logic that is to be executed to interpret and analyze data packets having the protocol. In this manner, the program code to be used by the protocol analyzer is generated mechanically, without requiring software developers. When the program code needs to be updated in view of changes to existing protocols or the introduction of new protocols, the protocol database is updated. These updates are then propagated to the program code without requiring direct manipulation of the code by software developers.

摘要: A system for transmitting packets over a home network of communication channels, typically coax cable, including a set of nodes, at least one having a packet aggregation functionality in which the node forms an aggregation frame by aggregating one or more packets which have accumulated at the node and transmits the frame. A network coordinator coordinates access of the nodes to the channels. At least one node is operative to inform the coordinator when it has formed an aggregation frame comprising a plurality of packets and to provide the coordinator with comparison information comparing different transmission possibilities for the frame. The coordinator, preferably responsively, determines whether, when, and which of, the aggregated packets can be transmitted.
