Abstract:
An electronic print board apparatus optically reads characters and figures, etc., written on a plate surface to scale down and print them, and includes a writing unit, a frame, a scanning unit, and a printer. The writing unit is divided into two sections, each of which has a plurality of stacked writable flat plates, a writing surface being formed by a front row of the two sections. The writing surface can be changed by rotating and moving one flat plate of the two flat plates located in the front row to the position of the other flat plate. The scanning unit is supported movably on the frame and includes a drive for causing such movement, a read unit having a sensor for generating a read signal, a synchronization device for synchronizing the scanning by the read unit with the speed of movement of the scanning unit, a battery for supplying power, and a transmitter for transmitting the read signal. The scanning unit optically scans the writing surface and issues the read signal. The printer receives the red signal transmitted from the scanning unit and prints in conformity with such signal.
Abstract:
A reflection-type overhead projector having a projection lamp and projection lens-and-mirror system disposed above a base on a gooseneck arm for projecting a transparency placed on the base on a remote screen. The overhead projector has a copying device incorporated therein for making a copy from a reflective original on a secondary original or a transparency, which comprises an image-scanning head movable lengthwise over the reflective original placed on a Fresnel mirror on the base to provide image signals; a mirror attached to the image scanning head for directing light from the projection lamp onto the reflective original just below the image scanning head; and a thermal printing head for thermally printing an image of the reflective original on a secondary original or a transparency according to the image signals.
Abstract:
An electronic blackboard system capable of using an existing white board or blackboard which may even be one that is already installed on a wall.
Abstract:
Apparatus for producing electronic signals which are representative of a detectable condition on an image-bearing surface. The apparatus includes an elongated array of distinct thin film photosensitive elements formed on a common flexible large area substrate. The elongated array of photosensitive elements are fabricated as a large area, photovoltaic structure formed of a plurality of thin film layers, including a first layer of thin film conductive material. The discrete photosensitive elements are defined by patterning of the conductive layer into shaped regions which determine the overall configuration and dimensions of each element.
Abstract:
An image display device according to the embodiment includes a display screen, an operation input unit, a control unit, and a notification unit. The display screen displays an image using a display mechanism in which scanning can be optically performed in a copy machine. The operation input unit is arranged at a position of being operated in a state in which a display screen is placed on a glass original document table so as to face the glass original document table of a copy machine, and receives an operation input of a user. When a plurality of images are set to display targets in the display screen, the control unit switches an image displayed on the display screen according to the operation input of a user with respect to the input operation unit. The notification unit notifies of switching of an image when the image displayed on the display screen is switched.

Abstract:
Example embodiments relate to generating a combined image of a presentation surface. In example embodiments, an image including a portion of a presentation surface is captured using a camera. A location identifier is then received, where the location identifier specifies a location of a digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface. Next, the digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface is retrieved from the location specified by the location identifier. Finally, a combined image is generated by combining the captured image and the retrieved digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface.
Abstract:
An image reading device includes a light source, an imaging element and a control unit. The light source irradiates light on a document. The irradiated light of the light source reflected by the document is incident on the imaging element. The control unit is configured to, if the document is an ordinary document having no light-emitting screen, set a light amount of the irradiated light of the light source at a predetermined reference value and is configured to, if the document is a special document having a light-emitting screen, reduce the light amount of the irradiated light of the light source to become lower than the reference value.
Abstract:
A scanning apparatus for scanning a large scale document, includes a main body, a scanning sensor, and a document transferring apparatus. The main body includes a transparent document placing portion. The scanning sensor is slidably mounted below the document placing portion. A scale of the scanning sensor is smaller than a scale of the transparent document placing portion. The transparent document placing portion supports the document thereon. The scanning sensor moves in at least two dimensionalities below different portions of the transparent document placing portion to scan different portions of the document.
