摘要： A waste product firing system which includes controlled bottom unloading of particulate material, such as sawdust, from a storage container and the metered feeding thereof to the preparatory means which compacts the particulate material to a desired density, selectively mixes the compacted particulate material with a determinable volume of air and feeds the resulting mixture into a combustion chamber, for example, of a boiler, for burning. The system including a control circuit system which cooperatively integrates the functions of the entire system so that an optimum amount of particulate material is fed into the combustion chamber for substantially complete combustion and minimization of pollutants.

摘要： A method of combusting flammable liquid wastes, which consists in setting into rotation a layer of flammable liquid wastes in a circular space, while gasification products are set into rotation in a combustion chamber by way of feeding air on several horizontal planes and in several directions. A plant for the combustion of flammable liquid wastes is arranged as a circular bath with a bubbling grate, above which there is a circular combustion chamber. Air supply nozzles are in tiers along the perimeter of the combustion chamber on its inner and outer walls. Nozzles for adjoining tiers are placed in opposite directions. Said plant ensures an intensified process of gasification of burned wastes and, consequently, their intensive burning and the absence of smoke. The plant allows flammable liquid wastes to burn with a water content of up to 60 percent and a mechanical impurities content of up to 10 percent.

摘要： Smoke emissions are eliminated from an incinerator by admitting cool air into a stack arranged to receive smoke from a combustion chamber for inducing a draft in the stack which opposes a natural draft therein. Smoke is carried along by the induced draft and returned to the combustion chamber, so that only gases free of particulate matter are emitted from the stack. The induced draft returning to the combustion chamber as overfire air has sufficient pressure for creating turbulence in the combustion chamber for retaining the smoke in the combustion chamber a time sufficient to ensure complete combustion thereof. The cool air is admitted into the stack by a louvered portion provided in the stack and arranged adjacent the combustion chamber, and, alternatively, one or more louvered elements connected to the combustion chamber and the stack so as to be in parallel with the louvered portion. Ducts are connected to the louvered portion and louvered elements to return smoke to the combustion chamber.

Another embodiment of the apparatus includes a feed assembly with a hopper and feed mechanism for respectively receiving combustible material and urging it upwardly through a feed duct into the chamber.
