    摘要: A combustion/pyrolization system for generating at least one of char and biochar comprising an upper base frame supporting a combustion/pyrolization housing, and the combustion/pyrolization housing having both an open top end and an open bottom end. A char collection bin defining a collection chamber therein and a perforated grate normally covering the open top end of the char collection bin. The perforated grate being sized so as to permit desired sized char and/or biochar to pass therethrough into the collection chamber. The open bottom end of the combustion/pyrolization housing of the upper base frame is movable into an engaged position where the combustion/pyrolization housing partially receives and surrounds the perforated grate and defines a combustion/pyrolization chamber for receiving and consuming feed material. The upper base frame is movable out of engagement with the perforated grate to facilitate movement of the perforated grate and removal of the generated char and/or biochar.

    摘要: An incinerator transport trailer has a chassis and an incinerator receiving and supporting cradle pivotally attached to the chassis for movement relative to the chassis between a travel position in which the cradle is positioned parallel to and extends along the chassis and a raised position in which the cradle extends generally perpendicular to the chassis. A first incinerator engagement is attached to the cradle toward a first end of the cradle for back-and-forth movement along a direction extending generally between the first and second ends of the cradle. A second incinerator engagement is attached to the cradle toward a second end of the cradle. The first incinerator engagement is movable to increase or decrease a distance between the first incinerator engagement and the second incinerator engagement to removably secure an incinerator to the cradle.

The rear wall has at least one inlet aperture formed adjacent to the bottom wall. The first side wall and the second side wall each have at least one outlet aperture disposed adjacent to the top wall.     摘要: A hand-held, disposable incinerator for medications and electronic storage media includes a body and a lid, a layer of insulation, and a chemical burn agent, which on ignition produces both heat and oxygen to destroy the contents. Exhaust gases pass through a non-combustible filter to remove most solid particles and contaminants, followed by a second, higher-efficiency filter. Hot gases exiting from the incinerator then desirably ignite again from their own heat, consuming remaining volatile organic matter distilled from the items being destroyed. An igniter, which may be a fuse, a pull-tab-activated pyrotechnic delay or an electronically remote-triggered igniter, provides a delay for the safety of the person using the incinerator. Heat generated within the burn chamber decomposes most organic materials, melts soft metals including aluminum and electronic solder, and renders data storage devices unreadable. At least an inner portion of the device may be safely discarded.

    摘要: In apparatus and method for waste treatment by pyrolysis, treated waste is flushed through a grid (18) to trap recyclable material in the pyrolysis chamber (24). Pyrolysis is carried out at a temperature of from 400-700° C. and off gases are dissolved in a solution in scrubber (13) for disposal in a water course. Water is introduced into the chamber as superheated steam via pipes (5) so as both to flush away treated material and clean the chamber. Recyclable waste is separated from non-recyclable by treating non-recyclable waste by pyrolysis, and flushing treated non-recyclable waste away through liquid exhaust (8). Apparatus is made as a modular, free-standing unit and comprises plugs for connection to an electricity supply, to a water supply, and to a sewage system (16) and has a chamber with a volume in the range 0.01-0.5 m3.

The carbon nanotube-catalyst composite simultaneously adsorbs the organic compounds and completely decomposes them by a catalytic reaction, and the optimal reaction active temperature by catalytic incineration is low. The carbon nanotube-catalyst composite has a large surface area and has high adsorption performance and catalytic decomposition activity, and is thus applicable to filters that use the methods of adsorption and/or catalytic incineration. The device for removing organic compounds from air includes an adsorption/catalytic incineration reactor including the carbon nanotube-catalyst composite to remove organic compounds from air.
