Provided are methods and apparatus for increasing subresource loading speed. A method may include receiving a page request initiated by a user, extracting the host domain name corresponding to the page URL, and querying if the hash table has a domain name tree corresponding to the host domain name; if the hash table has a domain name tree corresponding to the host domain name, traversing the domain name tree to extract a plurality of subresource domain names with the highest priority, and at the same time, establishing TCP connections for the host domain name and the plurality of subresource domain names; when the main document data of the host domain name is received, initiating a subresource loading request according to the subresource URL in the main document data; if the subresource domain name in the subresource loading request is a domain name in the above plurality of subresource domain names, directly initiating a HTTP request by using the previously established TCP connection, and completing the loading of the subresource. By establishing TCP connections for subresource domain names with high priority in advance, such methods and apparatus solve the problem that TCP connection needs to be established on site when a subresource loading is requested.

The present invention discloses a webpage edge content selection method and device, and a mobile terminal. The method includes, upon detecting that a user performs the operation of dragging the cursor part of the two cursors used to define a selection area toward a screen edge of a touch-screen of a mobile terminal, moving the cursor toward the screen edge of the touch-screen; determining whether the distance between the screen edge and the cursor part after the movement of the cursor is within a first predetermined distance; and, when within the first predetermined distance, triggering the content webpage to move in an opposite direction. Further, when the cursor part after the movement of the cursor reaches the content edge of the content webpage, the content webpage is moved further in the opposite direction by a second predetermined distance, bringing the edge of the content closer to the center of the screen than the edge of the screen. Using this method can help the user to more effectively select the text at the screen edge.
Abstract:
This invention provides a skin replacement method for a webpage content area displayed in a mobile terminal browser, including: parsing each element of webpage content received, determining whether a self-defined extension property exists in an element for indicating skin style information of the element. The self-defined extension property is predefined by a browser client and provided for a web server, and a value of the self-defined extension property represents index information of the skin style information of the element in a skin style library of the browser client; when the self-defined extension property exists, based on the index information, searching the skin style information corresponding to the index information in the skin style library; and rendering the element based on found skin style information. This method can directly and seamlessly integrate skin effect of the browser client into the webpage content displayed in the browser, providing better use experience.
Abstract:
A text-to-speech method includes outputting an instruction according to voice information entered by a user; obtaining text information according to the instruction; converting the text information to audio; and playing the audio. According to the embodiments of the present invention, news or other text content in a browser can be played by voice, which liberates hands and eyes of a user. The user can use the browser in some scenarios where the user cannot easily use the browser, such as driving a car, thereby improving user experience.

A method, a device, a client apparatus, and an electronic device for presenting webpages are disclosed. The method comprises: receiving webpage data; obtaining, based on page presentation-related interface information in the webpage data, corresponding interface elements of a local application; and at least partially using the interface elements of the local application to present a webpage of the webpage data. User experience can be improved according to some embodiments of the present disclosure.

The present disclosure provides method, apparatus, and server for network inquiry. The method includes receiving location information sent by a client terminal and network information detected by the client terminal, searching for network information in a preset range stored in a database according to the location information, comparing the network information sent by the client terminal with the network information found through searching and identifying the network information found through searching based on a comparison result, and sending the identified network information to the client terminal.

The present application provides a video playing method and apparatus. The method includes: establishing a video message communication channel between a webpage main document including a webpage iframe and the webpage iframe; searching, by the webpage iframe, for a video marker included in the webpage iframe and acquiring video information according to the video marker; and receiving, by the webpage main document, the video information returned by the webpage iframe by using the communication channel, and performing video playing according to the video information. By means of the present application, a player built in a current browser can be called to perform playing during video playing, to improve user experience in playing of cross-domain video services.

Provided are a window switching method, and device and storage medium thereof. The method comprises the steps: obtaining a first pre-reading keyword meeting the requirement in all contents on a page opened through a current window, determining a first pre-reading URL corresponding to the first pre-reading keyword, utilizing the pre-reading window to load a pre-reading page corresponding to the first pre-reading URL, and switching the pre-reading window loaded with the pre-reading page to the current window when an instruction of entering the pre-reading page is received. An improved pre-reading function can be achieved, and the technical problem of low user experience caused by the fact that contents on a pre-reading page cannot be displayed completely after switching to the pre-reading page is further solved.

Methods and apparatuses are provided for processing interface displays. The disclosed methods and apparatuses may detect a gesture operation on a current interface of a computing device. The current interface is pre-divided into a first region and a second region. The first region is configured to move in accordance with the detected gesture operation. The disclosed methods and apparatuses may switch from the current interface to a new interface that includes content of the first region when the gesture operation is determined to be corresponding to a predetermined gesture.
