Abstract: Methods and computer systems for optimization of computing resources. Obtaining one or more parameters of a resource demand, the one or more parameters including at least a defined date. Identifying, based on a projected demand for a computing resource, a resource optimization opportunity prior to the defined date. Generating a message based on the identification of the resource optimization opportunity. Identifying a second computer system based on the resource demand. Facilitating access to the computing resource prior to the defined date by a transmitting the generated message to the identified second computer system prior to the defined date.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and systems for distributing network connectivity from a gateway. The network access system can include a gateway with the ability to support regulating network access to various devices. The network access functionality can be configurable and customizable to various users or devices. The gateway can connect to a source and determine the bandwidth. Using the determined bandwidth, the gateway can allocate the bandwidth among the devices according to a priority order of the devices. In some implementations, the gateway can receive customizable features from the user for bandwidth allocation to devices connected the gateway. The gateway can track the network usage by MAC address of a device and disconnect the device from the network when the network usage reaches a threshold.

Abstract: A durability assessment system may receive a request, from a computing system, for a durability index describing an entity. The durability assessment system may determine the durability index based on information about the resource usage by the entity, such as a resource availability score or a resource allocation score. The durability assessment system may compare the obtained resource availability score and resource allocation score to ranges associated with a set of durability indices. Based on the comparison, the durability assessment system may determine a durability index for the entity. The durability index may indicate an ability of the entity to return accessed resources. In some cases, the durability assessment system may provide the durability index to an allocation computing system that is configured to determine whether to grant access to resources based on the durability index.

Abstract: In connection with a data distribution architecture, client-side “deduplication” techniques may be utilized for data transfers occurring among various file system nodes. In some examples, these deduplication techniques involve fingerprinting file system elements that are being shared and transferred, and dividing each file into separate units referred to as “blocks” or “chunks.” These separate units may be used for independently rebuilding a file from local and remote collections, storage locations, or sources. The deduplication techniques may be applied to data transfers to prevent unnecessary data transfers, and to reduce the amount of bandwidth, processing power, and memory used to synchronize and transfer data among the file system nodes. The described deduplication concepts may also be applied for purposes of efficient file replication, data transfers, and file system events occurring within and among networks and file system nodes.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and systems for providing multiple networks from a gateway. A multiple network gateway system can include a gateway (e.g., a router) with the ability to support multiple, configurable, and customizable networks. The gateway can connect to a source (e.g., internet service provider (ISP), cable networks, OTA networks, satellite networks, etc.) and determine the bandwidth. Using the determined bandwidth, the gateway can allocate the bandwidth among the multiple networks according to a priority order of the networks. In some implementations, the gateway can receive customizable features from the user. Examples of the customizable features can include security options, parental controls, operational hours, MAC address specific operations, number of user limits, and internet usage tracking. The gateway can determine the priority of each network based on the customizable features.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for unified high-bandwidth, low-latency data services provided with enhanced user mobility. In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant infrastructure (e.g., a hybrid fiber coax infrastructure) is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 5G NR services) via a common service provider. Premises devices are used to provide the 5G-based services to users at a given premises and thereabouts. In another variant, local area (e.g., “pole mounted”) radio devices are used to provide supplemental RF coverage, including during mobility scenarios. The 5G-capable network enables uninterrupted and “seamless” exchange of data at a client device by utilizing a common waveform protocol (e.g., 3GPP-based) at a premises device and an external radio device to communicate with a client device at different locations and times while the device is moving between inside and outside the premises.

Abstract: The present disclosure relate to allocating electronic resources. In some arrangements, a server configures allocable electronic resources for a live streaming room in response to receiving a first configuration request from a first client. The first configuration request is configured to indicate a first configuration operation performed by an anchor to the live streaming room, and the allocable electronic resources are associated to a target commodity corresponding to the live streaming room. The server acquires an allocation request sent by a second client, wherein the allocation request is triggered by an interactive operation of an audience of the second client in the live streaming room. The server allocates an electronic resource from the allocable electronic resources to the audience of the second client, in response to the allocation request, wherein the allocated electronic resource is used by the audience for completing an order operation about the target commodity.

Abstract: Technologies for dynamic allocation of network communication resources includes a resource manager server to allocate a set of network communication resources to a compute device through an expansion bus switch that is coupled to the compute device and to the network communication resources. The resource manager server obtains telemetry data indicative of a present utilization of the allocated set of network communication resources and determines whether the present utilization satisfies a predefined utilization threshold. Additionally, the resource manager server adjusts, through the expansion bus switch and in response to a determination that the present utilization does not satisfy the predefined utilization threshold, an amount of network communication resources in the set to the compute device.
