Abstract: Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are disclosed. In particular, the sprayable compositions include an alkali soluble emulsion polymer, an alkalinity source, a foaming agent, and water. Beneficially, the sprayable cleaning compoistions have reduced misting and are environmentally safe for users to apply. Further the compositions exhibit less running on non-horizontal surfaces than acrylamide-based compositions.

Abstract: Fast wetting and high foaming cleaning compositions with a combination of anionic and nonionic surfactants are disclosed. The compositions include a low-1,4 dioxane, high foaming anionic surfactant in combination with a high foaming nonionic surfactant and at least one cosurfactant comprising a sulfosuccinate. Methods of cleaning with the fast wetting and high foaming cleaning compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a surfactant booster for use in high foaming cleaning compositions. In an aspect of the invention, a C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11 or C12 linear alcohol in very low amounts is added to increase surface activity, foam and wetting properties of the composition. The alcohol is added in an amount of alcohol to surfactant of about 1:100 to 1:200 and must be linear. In another aspect, the invention relates to novel cleaning compositions such as pot and pan soaking compositions, dishwashing compositions, food and beverage foaming cleaners, vehicle cleaning and the like suitable for use in hard water, which can be solid or liquid. The invention further relates to methods of making these compositions, and to methods employing these compositions.

Abstract: Compositions are disclosed that include PEG-modified triglycerides as a surfactant. The mixtures form stable microemulsions with oils and fatty acids which can be the resultant product, such as lubricants, sunscreens, or triglyceride-based products. These emulsions or microemulsions are stable, irreversible, and can be created at low temperature. These can be used in detergents, rinse aids and the like to form microemulsions to remove oils and greasy soils, such as non-trans fats and fatty acids from substrates/surfaces often without the need for linker or other cosurfactants. Methods of making the compositions/microemulsions are included as well as uses thereof.

The surfactant system is capable of forming emulsions with, and thus removing, oily and greasy stains. The compositions of the invention include a sheeting agent, a defoaming agent, and an association disruption agent. The rinse aid compositions of the present invention result in a faster draining/drying time on most substrates compared to conventional rinse aids. The rinse aid compositions of the present invention are especially suitable for use on plastic substrates.
