Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatus, system and method of communicating a transmission according to a symbol block structure and Guard Interval (GI) scheme. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless station to generate a plurality of Single Carrier (SC) blocks according to a SC block structure corresponding to a GI type of a plurality of GI types, a SC block of the plurality of SC blocks including a GI followed by a data block, the GI including a Golay sequence having a length based at least on the GI type, a length of the data block is based at least on the GI type; and to transmit a SC transmission over a millimeter Wave (mmWave) frequency band based on the plurality of SC blocks.

Abstract: For example, a first device may calibrate a reference channel estimation based on a plurality of first channel estimation measurements, the plurality of first channel estimation measurements corresponding to first PPDUs received from a second device over a wireless channel, wherein two consecutive channel estimation measurements of the plurality of first channel estimation measurements are separated by no more than a first time interval; and determine a plurality of second channel estimation measurements for detection of a change in an environment of the wireless channel based on the reference channel estimation, wherein the plurality of second channel estimation measurements corresponds to a plurality of second PPDUs received from the second device over the wireless channel, wherein two consecutive channel estimation measurements of the plurality of second channel estimation measurements are separated by at least a second time interval, the second time interval is longer than the first time interval.

In particular, discovery and connection requests for connectivity capabilities utilizing a first radio may be communicated using a second radio, the second radio utilizing a lower amount of power relative to the first radio. For example, connectivity capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, WiGig, Zigbee can be discovered and connection request communicated using a Bluetooth radio.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for implementing unique multi-band service discovery protocols between communicating devices, including wireless communicating devices supporting operations according to multiple standards and in different frequency bands, particularly in peer-to-peer or ad hoc networking schemes. The disclosed systems and methods define within each service discovery frame, whether a service discovery query or a service discovery response, an indication of the frequency band and/or channel that may support a specific service indicated by the service discovery frame. Cooperating communicating devices between which communications are to be established supporting a specific service protocol are provided with a mechanism by which to identify which common frequency bands and/or channels the communicating devices may communicate in executing the specific service.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for associating network devices to a network. The method can include receiving a beacon from a source by an antenna array, allocating resources to beamform and beamforming after receiving at least a portion of the beacon. The beamforming can be accomplished prior to completion of an association request and prior to receipt of an acceptance signal in response to the association request. Accordingly directional transmissions can be utilized transmit at least part of an association request and to transmit an acceptance signal corresponding to the association request.
