Abstract: Provided herein are apparatus and methods for signaling regulatory information and transmit power information for device-to-device communication. An apparatus for a Wi-Fi device comprising: a RF interface; and processor circuitry coupled with the RF interface. The processor circuitry is to: decode a first discovery frame received from a peer Wi-Fi device via the RF interface to obtain a first Operation Information attribute of the peer Wi-Fi device, wherein the first Operation Information attribute is to indicate a first operation mode of the peer Wi-Fi device; and encode, in response to the first discovery frame, a second discovery frame for transmission to the peer Wi-Fi device via the RF interface, wherein the second discovery frame includes a second Operation Information attribute of the Wi-Fi device to indicate a second operation mode of the Wi-Fi device. Other embodiments may also be disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to peer-to-peer (P2P) Wi-Fi sensing. A device may generate a request to perform P2P Wi-Fi sensing operations with a second non-AP STA; send the request to an AP to which the non-AP STA is associated; identify a response received from the AP, the response indicating that the non-AP STA is a sensing receiver for the P2P Wi-Fi sensing operations; identify a trigger frame received from the AP, the trigger frame associated with the P2P Wi-Fi sensing operations; identify a sensing physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) received from the second non-AP STA, the sensing PPDU associated with the P2P Wi-Fi sensing operations and including an indication that the second non-AP STA sent the sensing PPDU; and determine channel state information based on the sensing PPDU, the channel state information indicative of motion of people or objects.

Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems related to media access control (MAC) range extension. A device may cause to append a training field to each of one or more beacon frames. The device may cause to send the one or more beacon frames directionally using a sector sweep to one or more responder devices during a first interval. The device may determine an extended schedule element to be sent to the one or more responder devices, the extended schedule element including one or more directional antenna sectors to be used by the device during a second interval. The device may identify a first frame from a first responder device, during the second interval, wherein the first frame is received on a directional antenna sector of the one or more directional antenna sectors corresponding to an operating sector of the first responder device.

Abstract: A Quality-of-Service (QoS) Management AP is configured to support QoS Management features and to perform a QoS Management Protocol. The AP decodes an Enhanced Add Traffic Stream (E-ADDTS) Request QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Req) received from a station (STA) to initiate QoS setup for a traffic stream. The STA may be a QoS Management STA configured to support the QoS Management features and perform the QoS Management protocol. The AP may encode, for transmission to the STA in response to the E-ADDTS Req, an E-ADDTS Response QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Resp) which includes a status code to indicate whether the QoS setup has been accepted. When the QoS setup is accepted, the E-ADDTS Resp includes a QoS setup ID within a QoS setup ID field in the E-ADDTS Resp that uniquely identifies the QoS setup for the traffic stream.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media for periodic unsolicited wireless link measurement reporting. The apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to: decode a link measurement request frame received from a requesting STA, the link measurement request frame comprising a report start time subfield, a report interval time subfield, and a report count subfield. The processing circuitry further configured to determine link measurements based on the link measurement request frame or based on a last frame received from the requesting STA within a reporting interval, the reporting interval indicated by the report start time subfield and the report interval time subfield. The processing circuitry further configured to encode a link measurement report frame to comprise the link measurements and configure the STA to transmit the link measurement report frame before an end of the reporting interval.

Abstract: An access point (AP) may be configured by processing circuitry to operate as a coordinator AP for performing BSS channel level coordination. The coordinator AP is configured to assign non-overlapping channels to one or more coordinated APs of overlapping BSSs to schedule time-sensitive traffic to help ensure bounded latency, jitter and reliability per BSS. In some embodiments, the AP may be configured for performing transmission level coordination and may initiate a coordinated transmission opportunity (TXOP) for resource assignment to control contention access among managed BSSs. To perform the BSS channel level coordination, the coordinator AP is configured to encode a multi-AP trigger frame (M-TF) to initiate the coordinated TXOP. The M-TF may be encoded to include a time-sensitive operation IE indicating how each STA is to access the channel within the coordinated TXOP.
