    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure to techniques for sidelink discovery in millimeter wave (e.g., Frequency Range 2 (FR2), or 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz) bands. For example, the disclosed techniques provides generating a sidelink discovery message including device information of the UE and non-device information. The sidelink discovery message is outputted for transmission. A sidelink connection with a receiver (Rx) UE can then be established after the output of the sidelink discovery message. Very often, beam training is required for FR2 communications. After beam sweep, the transmitter (Tx) UE and the Rx UE become aware of the primary beam directions and need to discover each other on a device level, by associating a beam pair link to a peer UE. As FR2 link often have high overhead to establish and maintain, the disclosed techniques enables device level and service level discovery using the discover message.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for on-demand sensing based on sidelink resource reevaluation are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE) includes selecting first sidelink resources for one or more transmissions based on partial sensing or resource selection independent of a sensing operation. The example method also includes receiving, over a sidelink channel, a resource reservation from a second UE, the resource reservation indicating reservation of resources overlapping with at least a portion of the first sidelink resources of the first UE. The example method also includes performing a resource reevaluation for one or more slots when the resource reservation indicates the reservation of resources overlapping with the at least a portion of the first sidelink resources of the first UE. The example method also includes selecting second sidelink resources for the one or more transmissions based on the resource reevaluation.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE on a sidelink channel, a configuration message that includes an indication of a first set of reference signals associated with a first transmit-receive point (TRP) of the first UE, an indication of a second set of reference signals associated with a second TRP of the first UE, and an indication to refrain from combining measurements based at least in part on the first set of reference signals with measurements based at least in part on the second set of reference signals. The first UE may further transmit, using the first TRP of the first UE, the first set of reference signals, and transmit, using the second TRP of the first UE, the second set of reference signals.     Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communications including sidelink communications between wireless devices. Adaptation of a resource exclusion reference signal receive power (RSRP) threshold for scheduling resources for a device using such sidelink communications includes utilization of first and second time/frequency windows of available resources to determine the number of free resources in each window. If the free resources in either window are less than a predetermined free resource threshold, the resource exclusion RSRP threshold is increased to gain further potential time/frequency resources that may be scheduled by the device.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink communications between user equipment's (UEs). Per one technique, during a discovery opportunity, a first UE and a second UE may identify a subset of beam pairs suitable for communication, and schedule a discontinuous transmission (DTX) occasion during the discovery opportunity. During the DTX occasion, the first UE and second UE may perform a beam refinement procedure to determine a beam pair (BP) over which to communicate, from the identified subset of beam pairs. The beam refinement procedure may include beam narrowing of at least one of the identified subset of beam pairs.
