    Abstract: A compound having the formula Ir(LA)n(LB)3−n, having the structure Formula I, is disclosed. In Formula I, each of Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 is CR2; X is O, S, or Se; n is an integer from 1 to 3; R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 each independently represent mono- to a maximum possible number of substitutions, or no substitution; R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are each independently selected from a variety of substituents; any two substitutions in R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are optionally joined to form a ring; at least one pair of substitutions in R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are joined together to form a bridge structure comprising a backbone structure that forms a fused first ring, which can be further substituted; and the backbone structure is saturated. Organic light emitting devices and consumer products containing the compounds are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Novel compounds including at least two donor groups GD and at least two acceptor groups GA are disclosed. In these compounds, each donor group GD and acceptor group GA can be the same or different; any pair of donor groups GD is separated by at least one acceptor group GA; any pair of acceptor groups GA is separated by at least one donor group GD; and the total number of the donor groups GD is equal to the total number of the acceptor groups GA. Organic light emitting devices, consumer products, formulations, and chemical structures containing the compounds are also disclosed.

    Abstract: An OLED incorporating a first emitting compound in its emissive layer is disclosed. The first emitting compound has the formula G1-Z, Formula I, where G1 is an electron acceptor group; and Z is an electron donor group, where Z has the formula: Formula II; wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents no substitution to the maximum allowable substitution; wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, halide, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acids, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; and wherein two or more of R1 and R2 substitutions are optionally joined or fused into a ring.
