摘要: A compound is disclosed that has a metal coordination complex structure having at least two ligands coordinated to the metal; wherein the compound has a first substituent R1 at one of the ligands' periphery; wherein a first distance is defined as the distance between the metal and one of the atoms in R1 where that atom is the farthest away from the metal among the atoms in R1; wherein the first distance is also longer than any other atom-to-metal distance between the metal and any other atoms in the compound; and wherein when a sphere having a radius r is defined whose center is at the metal and the radius r is the smallest radius that will allow the sphere to enclose all atoms in the compound that are not part of R1, the first distance is longer than the radius r by at least 2.9 Å.

摘要: A hybrid neuromorphic computing device is provided, in which artificial neurons include light-emitting devices that provide weighted sums of inputs as light output. The output is detected by a photodetector and converted to an electrical output. Each neuron may receive output from one or more other neurons as initial input. Interconnects between neurons may be optical, electrical, or a combination thereof. The neurons also may provide imaging sensor and/or display capabilities.

In Formula I, each of Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 is CR2; X is O, S, or Se; n is an integer from 1 to 3; R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 each independently represent mono- to a maximum possible number of substitutions, or no substitution; R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are each independently selected from a variety of substituents; any two substitutions in R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are optionally joined to form a ring; at least one pair of substitutions in R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are joined together to form a bridge structure comprising a backbone structure that forms a fused first ring, which can be further substituted; and the backbone structure is saturated. Organic light emitting devices and consumer products containing the compounds are also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention provides an emissive region in organic light emitting devices having a combined emission from at least two emissive materials, a fluorescent blue emissive material and a phosphorescent emissive material. The emissive region may further comprise additional fluorescent or phosphorescent emissive materials. Preferably, the emissive region has three different emissive materials—a red emissive material, a green emissive material and a blue emissive material. Organic light emitting devices incorporating the emissive region provides a high color-stability of the light emission over a wide range of currents or luminances.

摘要: A first method comprises providing a plurality of organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) on a first substrate. Each of the OLEDs includes a transmissive top electrode. The plurality of OLEDs includes a first portion of OLEDs and a second portion of OLEDs that is different from the first portion. The first method further includes depositing a first capping layer over at least the first portion of the plurality of OLEDs such that the first capping layer is optically coupled to at least the first portion of the plurality of OLEDs. A second capping layer is deposited over at least the second portion of the plurality of OLEDs such that the second capping layer is optically coupled to the second portion of the plurality of OLEDs but not the first portion of the plurality of OLEDs.

Also provided are related formulations, related premixed co-evaporation sources, related consumer products and related method of making those OLED devices.
