Abstract:
A window blind structure with multiple rods and blinds includes a plurality of support brackets, hook elements, head rails, and blind bodies wherein each support bracket is equipped with a fixing end with multiple fixing thru-holes disposed thereon for the secure engagement of locking screws therewith, and a suspending arm properly extending forwards from the fixing end thereof and provided with a plurality of equally-spaced retaining members each surrounded by a retaining space for the location of a matched hanging rod thereon. Both sides of the retaining member is defined by a set of left/right movement spaces to match with the hook element having a hanging portion to hook onto the hanging rod thereby and an inserting block with indented recesses disposed at the bottom end thereof to engage with an inserting groove disposed at the upper section of the head rail thereby. The head rail also has a receiving space with a stop flange disposed at the lower section thereof, and a connecting portion disposed at a predetermined section thereon for the attachment thereto of a connected portion of a blind body of different types. Thus, via the aforementioned structure, the blind bodies of different types can be freely moved and alternatively arranged at the hanging rods of the support brackets thereon as well as easily replaced with new ones according to the needs of a user, providing versatile and interesting variation as well as more flexible application of the present invention in practical use.
Abstract:
A removable window covering for an arched window is formed of a reinforcing frame and fabric enveloping the frame. The frame has joints to allow for folding of sections of the window covering for ease in transporting and storing the covering. An attachment means is provided to allow for the window covering to be installed over an arched window and easily removed when it is desired to have the window exposed. The window covering may also have UV resistant and thermally insulative properties.

A retractable cover for architectural openings having collapsible vanes includes a support structure in the form of a sheet of material, monofilaments, tapes, ribbons, cords, or the like, supporting an upper edge of a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally extending vanes with the lower edges of the vanes in most embodiments of the invention being connected to operating elements adapted to raise the lower edges of each vane toward the upper edges to define openings or gaps between the vanes through which vision and light can pass in an open condition of the covering. Variations of the covering do not require movement of a lower edge of a vane relative to an upper edge but simply movement of some vanes relative to other vanes. The vanes can be made of materials having different flexibilities and where more rigid materials are used, creased fold lines can be established for desired operability.

Drapery hooks for mounting and suspending a drapery from a drapery rod are discribed. The drapery hook may include a pointed pin portion having an upper pointed end and a lower heel end and adapted for insertion into the drapery and a clamp portion extending upwardly from the lower heel end of the pin portion. The drapery hook may also include an upside down U-shaped portion extending from the upper end of the clamp portion, the upside down U-shaped portion adapted to hang over a drapery rod and be suspended therefrom. Additionally, the drapery hook may include a securing structure adapted to substantially secure a drapery ring in the upside down U-shaped portion. The securing structure may also be substantially immovable.

A curtain rod assembly includes a curtain rod and a plurality of inserts coupled to the curtain rod. Distributed about the polygonal cross-section of the curtain rod are surfaces disposed substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and non-coplanar with respect to each other. The inserts are coupled to these surfaces such that the inserts' respective external faces, having a first portion of a hook and loop fastener thereon, are disposed for attachment thereto from different directions. Preferably, the inserts may slide along the curtain rod to be positionable at any desired position. One or more window treatment panels may be attached to the curtain rod via the inserts using hook and loop fastener of a complementary type to the hook and loop fastener on the inserts.

A fastening surface body which can mount a sheet-like fastening body to a sheet-like mounting body having various kinds of cross-sectional shapes with no play. The fastening surface body can securely engage a surface fastener of a sheet member to which a female surface fastener is mounted, where the fastening body includes a flat substrate having a surface comprising male engaging elements. The fastening body is structured so as to be fitted and fixed to fitting groove portions of the mounting body so as to bond and fix various kinds of sheet members. Each fitting groove portion of the of the mounting body generally has a C-shaped cross section formed with openings along both end edges of a widthwise direction. The fastening body has at least a protrusion having a height so that that the protrusion contacts a surface of the mounting body when the fastening body is fitted and fixed to the mounting body. The protrusion also extends in parallel to the fitting groove portions at least at a center portion in a widthwise direction on a surface opposite to the surface from which the male engaging elements protrude. Accordingly, it is possible to mount the sheet-like fastening body with no play even when the fastening body is thinner than a height of the opening of the fitting groove portions of the mounting body. Further, the protrusions can support the fastening body in a horizontal state against an external pressing force.

A shower curtain system comprising a generally rectangular shower curtain sheet assembly having an upper horizontal edge and a lower horizontal edge and lateral vertical side edges. A plurality of coupling straps each having an interior edge and with an exterior edge positioned to be removably coupled to the sheet and with an intermediate supporting loop between the interior edge and exterior edge for being slidably received on the shower rod. A plurality of detachable weights are removably positioned on the lower edge of the shower curtain.

Provided is an improved curtain for garage door windows, standard windows, and the like, with at least one curtain element overlying a support sleeve portion. The support sleeve portion is affixed adjacent the top edge of the curtain element such that the curtain element overlies the support sleeve portion in a smooth fashion and hangs naturally. The support sleeve portion provides for detachably installing the curtain over the window through the use of coacting hook and loop fasteners. The support sleeve portion further provides for rapid adjustment of the width of the curtain, dually through the use of elastic banding material contained within the support sleeve portion, and by crimping and detachably affixing the support sleeve portion to the associated coacting hook portion at selected intervals. The manner and location of affixation of the support sleeve portion allows the curtain to be so rotated through more than ninety degrees relative to the support sleeve portion without causing the curtain to sag or separate from the door when in the raised, overhead position. The curtain may be rolled or folded back upon itself and detachably secured thereto through the use of normally hidden fasteners located within spaced apart pleats of the curtain element.

In a spring-loaded curtain mount, the mount includes a pole interface at a proximal end, a compressive mechanism, and a head at a distal end. The pole interface is adapted to receive the end of a standard length adjustable pole or a painter's pole. The compression mechanism is disposed between the proximal end of the mount and the head. The mount includes a coupling device adapted to receive a portion of a curtain. During installation, the curtain mount is coupled to the end of an extension pole and the length of the pole is adjusted such that the combined length of the pole and mount is slightly longer than the distance between the floor and ceiling. At ground level, a portion of the curtain is attached to the head of the curtain mount. The curtain and mount are raised to the ceiling and the mount and pole are compressed between the floor and the ceiling. This compressive force operates to urge the head toward the ceiling, securing the mount in place.
