Abstract:
An interchangeable shelf label system includes a label mount backing plate, a label sleeve, and a label plate for securing to shelving. The label mount backing plate has a configured thickness and extends from the distal end of one or more support arms of shelving and presents a front face as a backing surface for the label plate. The label sleeve includes ridges, extending inwardly from the interior front wall of the label sleeve a target width, with ridges disposed on opposing sides of the label sleeve. The label sleeve further includes ledges, opposing the ridges, the ledges disposed on opposing sides of the label sleeve. The ledges extend inwardly a target width from the ridges. The ledge to ridge area define a first sleeve dimensioned for receipt of the label mount backing plate. The ridge to interior wall area define an adjacent, second sleeve dimensioned for receipt of the label plate. The adjacent sleeve enables the label mount backing plate and the label plate to be simultaneously slidably engaged for an optimum compression fit.

A system that embodies a secure, pictorial marker to prevent surgical site errors is provided. The pictorial marker may be adapted to utilize visual processing to provide accurate and reliable information regarding a predetermined surgical site in an easy, intuitive manner. The pictorial marker may be created at the time of the decision to proceed with a surgical procedure regarding the predetermined surgical site. A systemic apparatus may protect the pictorial marker from degradation, maintain the confidentiality of the pictorial marker and other patient identifying information, and secure the pictorial marker to an appendage of the patient nearest the predetermined surgical site.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a wristband assembly comprising a strap adapted to be formed into a loop; a translucent (e.g., transparent) cover member having a fixed portion secured (e.g., permanently adhered) to the strap and a free end unsecured to the strap, and a release member (e.g., a silicone-coated material) positioned over an inner surface of the cover member between the fixed portion and the free end. A portion of the release member is temporarily secured to the strap at a retention location spaced from the free end (e.g., by a distance of at least 1 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, or 15 mm). In one embodiment, the assembly further includes a retention adhesive at the retention location. Preferably, the retention adhesive is permanently secured to the release member and temporarily adhered to the strap.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A greeting card display system and method presents cards in grouped arrangements by category and sub-category. Locator headers span multiple columns of a tiered matrix of card stations to define the area of a group of cards. Related groups of cards are relatively positioned in the display to facilitate customer location of cards of a particular category or subcategory. A header or megalocator, which defines a broad category or theme of cards such as “Birthday”, extends over all of the columns of card stations of the display. Separate locators, beneath the header, extend over some of the columns of card stations below the header, and define a subcategory of cards such as “Birthday for Her”. All of the cards under the subcategory locators are within the defined subcategory, until another locator is reached, defining another subcategory such as “Birthday for Mom”. Because all of the cards of the subcategory defined by the locator are in stations directly below the locator, occasion-specific cards can be easily located on the display. The greeting card display system can also be implemented in an on-line retail environment.
