摘要: A method and apparatus for alerting an individual is described. A determination as to whether an individual is within a sensing area of a first device is made. The first device may be configured to provide information about a product on a shelf on which the first device is attached. In response to determining that the individual is within the sensing area, a determination as to whether to notify an occurrence of the determination that the individual is within the sensing area of the first device to at least one second device is made. In response to determining to notify, a notification may be transmitted to the at least one second device that the individual is within the sensing area of the first device. An alert may be triggered at the at least one second device based upon the transmitted notification.

摘要: A wireless electronic label comprises a display module, a rectenna module and a control drive module. The display module has a display surface. The rectenna module is disposed on the display surface of the display module. The rectenna module is used to receive an electromagnetic wave signal and convert it into an electrical energy signal. The rectenna module is made of light-transmitting electronically conductive material. The control drive module is used to convert the electrical energy signal into electrical energy to power the wireless electronic label and to send a command signal to the display module. The display module is further used to display a label signal on the display surface according to the command signal.

The emitter is positioned to emit optical energy onto the optical member and the detector is positioned to receive optical energy leaving the optical member. A computing device in operable communication with the optical sensor is operative to determine whether the price tag is accurate based upon a comparison between the amount of optical energy received by the detector and the amount of optical energy emitted by the emitter.

摘要: A merchandise display assembly comprises a tier of horizontally elongated metallic shelving for merchandise, with a display assembly detachably coupled at each shelf to an LED TV display of the merchandise. Each elongated LED TV display comprises an LCD screen comprised of 1920×95 pixels backlit by white light emitting LEDs, and projecting white LED lighting to illuminate the merchandise below each LED TV display, said LED TV displays each driven by an elongated compact HDMI or daisy chained controller board. The face of the display is arranged to have maximal area by confining vertical drivers to a compact upper region, permitting the boarder of the region to be of equal thickness both above and below the display and by providing a back cover that extends only to the rear surface of the display element.
