    摘要: An ultrasonic measurement device includes: an ultrasonic element array that has at least one reception column connected to a reception terminal, and equipped with ultrasonic elements for reception and that has at least one transmission column connected to a transmission terminal, and equipped with ultrasonic elements for transmission; a reception circuit that receives a signal from the reception terminal; and a transmission circuit that outputs a signal to the transmission terminal. The reception column and the transmission column are alternately arranged every column, or any multiple of columns in a scanning direction. The ultrasonic elements for reception and the ultrasonic elements for transmission are arranged along a orthogonal direction that is orthogonal to the scanning direction. The reception terminal is arranged at one end of the array in the orthogonal direction, and the transmission terminal is arranged at the other end of the array in that direction.

The wavelengths of the elastic waves to bend are large with respect to the thickness of the plate and small with respect to the other dimensions of the plate. The structure is made by defining a meshing of a peripheral zone surrounding the zone to isolate; dividing the peripheral zone into several elementary rings and several elementary angular sectors; and forming, in each mesh delimited by an elementary angular sector and an elementary ring, a structural element in a material having a Young's modulus and/or a mass density different than those of the material forming the plate, the dimensions of the meshes and of the structural elements in the plane of the plate being less than half the wavelengths of the elastic waves to bend.

    摘要: An acoustical phase plug for use in loudspeakers produces a planar rectangular wavefront, or a wavefront with a desired amount of curvature, from the output aperture of the phase plug device when presented with a planar circular wavefront at the input aperture. The phase plug utilizes a waveguide that equalizes the travel paths from the input aperture to the output aperture. The waveguide essentially eliminates surface discontinuities thereby resulting in the reduction of diffraction of the wavefront travelling through the phase plug device.

    摘要: The present disclosure involves a method of fabricating an ultrasound transducer. A piezoelectric polymer is mixed into a solution containing a first chemical and a second chemical to form a viscous film. In some embodiments, the first chemical includes methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), and the second chemical includes dimethylacetamide (DMA). In other embodiments, the first chemical includes cyclohexanone, and the second chemical includes dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The film is coated onto a wafer and then flashed off during the coating. Thereafter, the film is baked. The second chemical is removed during the baking. Thereafter, the film is annealed. In some embodiments, the annealing is performed using an annealing temperature in a range from about 135 degrees Celsius to about 145 degrees Celsius and an annealing duration in a range from about 17 hours to about 19 hours. The film has a β phase crystallinity greater than 50% after the annealing.
