Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is provided having a memory to store a measurement object (MO) that defines a synchronization-signal block based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasion. The MO is within a group of MOs that include SMTC configurations that provide fully overlapped SMTC occasions. The UE further includes processing circuitry to determine an inter-frequency cell identification requirement for the group and perform measurements based on the MO to determine whether a cell is detected within the inter-frequency cell identification requirement.

The base station transmits configuration information including one or more interference measurement resources (IMRs) allocated for measurement by the UE, receives a reference CSI report from the UE, receives a new CSI report including interference and noise power fluctuation feedback from the UE and selects a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for the UE based on at least the interference and noise power fluctuation feedback and the reference CSI report.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are disclosed for determining prioritization of subsequent small data transmissions (SDTs) and measurement occasions for a UE in inactive mode. The UE may determine that one or more subsequent SDT occasions of an SDT session conflict in time with one or more measurement occasions scheduled during the SDT session. In response, the UE may determine which of the subsequent SDT occasions to utilize or forgo, and which of the measurement occasions to utilize or forgo. The procedure for making such determinations may vary based on the type of measurement occasion involved in the conflict. For example, the procedure may vary based on whether the measurement event pertains to inter-frequency neighbor cell measurement occasions, inter-RAT neighbor cell measurement occasions, intra-frequency neighbor cell measurement occasions, serving cell downlink measurement occasions, and/or serving cell paging occasions.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are disclosed for avoiding slot decoding failure due to beam switching of a common beam. In one example, a baseband processor for a user equipment (UE) is configured to cause the UE to perform various operations. The operations include receiving a data transmission on a plurality of component carriers (CCs) carrying corresponding symbols on a common beam; receiving a beam switch command from the network node, wherein the beam switch command is configured to cause the UE to switch a receiving (RX) beam at an end boundary of a first symbol of the data transmission; identifying one or more symbols for restricted scheduling in one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs based on the beam switching on the first symbol; and ignoring the one or more symbols identified for restricted scheduling for decoding of the data transmission.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device is configured for performing a signal measurement for wireless communication in a new radio (NR) network. The UE is configured to determine a frequency range (FR) of a serving cell configured to send a signal that is measured by the UE using a signal measurement. The UE configures a measurement gap (MG) pattern to perform the signal measurement. Configuring the measurement gap includes determining that the frequency range of the serving cell includes frequencies of a second frequency range (FR2), determining that a measurement object (MO) configuration for the FR2 is available, setting a measurement gap repetition periodicity (MGRP) value for the signal measurement, and setting a measurement gap length (MGL) value for the signal measurement. The UE performs a signal measurement using the MGRP value and the MGL value.
