An alternative composition can comprise a liquid vehicle and latex particulates dispersed in the liquid vehicle, wherein the latex particulates have a reactive surfactant covalently attached thereto.

The cross-linking agents are of particular structures and include at least one Cl or Br. From about 0.05 wt % to about 15 wt % of the latex particulate is cross-linked with the cross-linking agent. Such latex particulates can be used in latex suspensions and inks.

    摘要: An improved method of forming features on substrates by imprinting is provided. In the method, a polymer solution that contains at least one polymer dissolved in at least one polymerizable monomer and the polymer solution is deposited on the substrate to form a liquid film thereon. Further, the liquid film is cured by causing the at least one monomer to polymerize and optionally cross-linking the at least one polymer to thereby form a polymer film, the polymer film having a glass transition temperature of less than 100° C., and the polymer film is imprinted with a mold having a desired pattern to form a corresponding negative pattern in the polymer film. Alternatively, the liquid film is imprinted with the mold and the liquid film is cured in the presence of the mold to form the polymer film with the negative pattern.

    摘要: The present invention is drawn to passivated pigment suspensions, methods of forming passivated pigment suspensions, and ink sets based thereupon. The coated pigment suspension can comprise a liquid vehicle and a passivated pigment suspended in the liquid vehicle. The coated pigment can include a pigment core, on which is deposited a passivation layer comprising a polymer precursor synthesized while separate from the pigment. A polymer encapsulation layer may be attached to or deposited on the passivation layer.
