    摘要: A system, method and computer program product that combines techniques in the fields of search, data mining, collaborative filtering, user ratings and referral mappings into a system for intelligent web-based help for task or transaction oriented web based systems. The system makes use of a service oriented architecture based on metadata and web services to locate, categorize and provide relevant context sensitive help, including found help not available when the web based system or application was first developed. As part of the inventive system, there is additionally provided a system for providing an integrated information taxonomy which combines automatically, semi-automatically, and manually generated taxonomies and applies them to help systems. This aspect of the invention is applicable to the fields of online self-help systems for web sites and software applications as well as to customer, supplier and employee help desks.

    摘要: A method is described for using descriptive logic (DL) representations to validate consistency in component business model (CBM) maps. Semantic constraints are generated from a semantic model of a component business model meta-model and inconsistency conditions of CBM maps. The semantic model of the CBM meta-model is applied to transform CBM maps into corresponding semantic representations. An inference engine applies the semantic constraints to the semantic representations to determine inconsistencies between one CBM map and another and between a CBM map and the component business model meta-model.

The product information is obtained from the online store. An analysis data window is presented concurrently with and in proximity to the respective product page. In a preferred embodiment, the type of analysis data is determined by a type (class) of analyst that uses the interface. A method of doing business uses the interface to determine the effectiveness of and improve various information presented on the product page.

In particular, one or more business area models for a business entity are obtained and transformed into intermediate model(s). Each intermediate model is represented using a substantially similar meta-modeling language. Subsequently, the semantic business model is generated by merging the set of intermediate models. In this manner, the semantic business model can be generated in a manner that reduces the overall burden on a user. The semantic business model can be provided for display to the user and/or use in performing qualitative analysis on various aspects of the business entity.
