Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method logs, within a logged measurement, a log entry comprising a measurement result, wherein the log entry is related to one or more public land mobile networks (PLMN) contained in a minimization driving test (MDT) PLMN list for a logged measurement configuration provided for logging, and the method comprises: acquiring a new PLMN list; determining the validity of the log entry on the basis of the new PLMN list; and reporting the logged measurement report message to a network on the basis of the result of the validity determination.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a configuration in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration from a first node, stores the received configuration if a connection failure is detected, and transmits the stored configuration to a second node. The connection failure may be one of a radio link failure (RLF) or a handover failure (HOF). The configuration may include at least one of a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration and a measurement configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of receiving information at a user equipment configured with a serving cell in a mobile communication system, and the method comprises activating the serving cell; receiving a first signal from a base station, the first signal including timing advance group assignment information for the serving cell; and deactivating the serving cell if the timing advance group assignment information indicates a second timing advance group different from a first timing advance group assigned to the serving cell.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for selecting a cell in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a radio resource control (RRC) connection release message including redirection information from a serving cell. The UE determines whether to ignore the redirection information in the RRC connection release message according to a release cause of an RRC connection release and a user preference between a unicast service and a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) service. If it is determined to ignore the redirection information, the UE ignores the redirection information in the RRC connection release message.
Abstract:
A method in which a first communication module of a terminal transmits channel measurement information to a base station in a wireless communication system and a device therefor are disclosed in the present invention. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: receiving a message indicating an operation start of at least one second communication module coexisting in the terminal from the second communication module; determining an unusable frequency due to in-device coexistence (IDC) interference on the basis of information on an operating frequency of the first communication module and an operating frequency of the second communication module; and transmitting an IDC interference indication message including channel measurement information corresponding to the determined unusable frequency to the base station.
Abstract:
In a wireless communication system, a user equipment, already configured with a first medium access control (MAC) entity for a master cell group (MCG) associated with a master base station, capable of configuring a secondary cell group (SCG) associated with a secondary base station based on a radio resource control (RRC) message received from the master base station. The user equipment can configure a second MAC entity for the newly configured SCG. Through a second RRC message from the master base station, the user equipment can then add a new SCG cell to the SCG, where the second MAC entity is commonly configured for one or more secondary SCG cells belonging to the SCG.
Abstract:
A method is provided for operating by a user equipment (UE) connected with a master base station (BS) and a secondary BS in a wireless communication system. The UE configures a first cell supporting a contention based random access and a second cell other than the first cell. The first cell and the second cell are associated with the secondary BS. The UE determines whether a radio link problem is occurred on the first cell or the second cell. The UE indicates the radio link problem to an upper layer only if the radio link problem occurs on the first cell.
Abstract:
A method for a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system including a first base station (BS) and a second BS. The UE includes two medium access control (MAC) entities: one MAC entity for the first BS and one MAC entity for the second BS. The method includes mapping a first logical channel group (LCG) including one or more logical channels for transmitting first data to the first BS to the one MAC entity for the first BS and a second LCG including one or more logical channels for transmitting second data to the second BS to the one MAC entity for the second BS; based on the first data belonging to a logical channel in the first LCG having a higher priority than priorities of other logical channels in the first LCG for which data is already available for transmission, triggering, by the one MAC entity for the first BS, a first buffer status report to the first BS independently of logical channels of the second LCG; and based on the second data belonging to a logical channel in the second LCG having a higher priority than priorities of other logical channels in the second LCG for which data is already available for transmission, triggering, by the one MAC entity for the second BS, a second buffer status report to the second BS independently of logical channels of the first LCG.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for reporting an RLC (Radio Link Control) re-transmission failure in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: communicating with both the first BS and the second BS, wherein the first BS has a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with the UE; and reporting to the first BS, a Radio Link Control (RLC) retransmission error without RRC connection re-establishment for the first BS if the RLC retransmission error occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU (Protocol Data Unit) to the second BS.
