    Abstract: Techniques are provided in which changes to a bandwidth part (BWP) of a target user equipment (UE) are restricted during a processing window (PW) for measuring and processing reference signal (RS) resources. These BWP change restrictions may be implemented by employing any combination of (i) ensuring a serving base station will not reconfigure or switch the BWP during the PW, (ii) ensuring the UE suspends a BWP inactivity timer of current BWP, (iii) ensuring the numerology and/or bandwidth (BW) of the BWP do not change, and/or (iv) preventing a change to an overlapping spectrum between the BWP and a spectrum of the RS resources.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a relative location anchor group (RLAG) may facilitate a position estimation procedure in an environment where absolute position estimation accuracy is below a threshold. An absolute position estimate derived via the RLAG may optionally be transformed to a true (or more accurate) position estimate via transformation information. In some cases, new anchors may be added to the RLAG after performing a position estimation procedure with the RLAG. In other designs, a local coordinate system (LCS) may be used for position estimation in lieu of a global coordinate system (GCS), such as WGS 84.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a position estimation entity configures a sidelink anchor group with sidelink anchor(s), to which respective sidelink PRS pre-configuration(s) are sent. A UE transmits a request to schedule an on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation session of the UE. The position estimation entity provides the UE with assistance data associated with the sidelink anchor group for the on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation session. The UE sends the sidelink anchor group a sidelink PRS trigger to perform a sidelink PRS exchange with some or all of the sidelink anchor group in accordance with the respective sidelink PRS pre-configuration(s).

In an aspect, a position determination entity (PDE) receives a request to schedule an on-demand PRS positioning session of a UE at a future time, wherein the request is configured to request a first set of parameters for the scheduled on-demand PRS positioning session, with an availability of one or more parameters of the first set of parameters at the future time being indeterminable when the request is received. PDE determines the availability of the one or more parameters at the future time. PDE determines a PRS configuration for the scheduled on-demand PRS positioning session in advance of the future time.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, on a first downlink receive beam, one or more first positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by a first base station on a first downlink transmit beam, attempts to receive, on the first downlink receive beam, one or more second PRS transmitted by a set of base stations, other than the first base station, on a set of downlink transmit beams other than the first downlink transmit beam, determines that one or more signal strength measurements of the one or more second PRS received on the first downlink receive beam are below a threshold, and transmits a request to update the set of downlink transmit beams or the first downlink transmit beam, or to establish a new beam pairing with the first base station, the set of base stations, or both.

    Abstract: Timing advance (TA) handling for sidelink (SL)-assisted positioning of a first user equipment (UE), comprises determining the first UE is configured to transmit an SL positioning reference signal (SL-PRS) to a second UE for the SL-assisted positioning. A guard period length can be determined based on a configuration of the first UE for transmitting the SL-PRS, where the guard period may comprise a period of time during which the SL-PRS is transmitted by the first UE. A message can be sent to a serving transmission reception point (TRP) of the first UE, where the message indicates the guard period and comprises a TA-related request. The TA-related request includes a request to postpone applying a TA command received by the first UE until after the guard period, or a request for the serving TRP not to send a TA command to the first UE during the guard period
