摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, via an autonomous uplink communication, one or more transport blocks to a base station. Each transport block may include a plurality of code block groups (CBGs). The base station may provide CBG-level feedback to the UE based at least in part on the autonomous uplink communication. In some examples, the base station may provide the CBG-level feedback in one or more downlink feedback information (DFI) packets. In some other examples, the base station may provide the CBG-level feedback via one or more uplink transmission grants. The UE may retransmit one or more CBGs from the autonomous uplink communication based at least in part on the DFI packets or uplink transmission grants.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for using a common physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to indicate transmission beams to be used by a base station during a transmission opportunity or a periodicity to monitor search spaces are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a search space (in some cases, using a periodicity) for the common PDCCH to determine if transmission beams associated with the UE are to be used during the transmission opportunity. If so, the UE may wake-up during at least a portion of the transmission opportunity to receive additional information. If the common PDCCH indicates that no transmission beams associated with the UE are to be used during the transmission opportunity, the UE may enter or re-enter the sleep state. The UE may switch to a new periodicity for monitoring the search space based on the information transmitted within the common PDCCH.

摘要: A grant may allocate resources for an uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE) in a system using beamforming, where the resources may be used by the UE to transmit data or control information during a time that a base station is listening in a certain receive beam direction. A UE may be in communication with a base station using beamformed transmissions, and the base station may send a resource grant to the UE for uplink transmissions that correspond to a receive beam direction of a beamsweeping operation. The UE may then transmit data and/or uplink control information to the base station according to the resource grant and when the base station is listening in the corresponding direction. In some examples, the UE may send the uplink transmission to the serving base station, and transmit a random access channel to another base station based on the beamsweeping operation.

A first wireless communication device transmits in a first frequency band, a first system information signal indicating a first random access configuration for a second frequency band. The first wireless communication device transmits in a third frequency band, a second system information signal indicating a second random access configuration for the second frequency band. The first and third frequency bands are different frequency bands. Additionally, the first wireless communication device performs with a second wireless communication device, a random access procedure based on at least one of the first random access configuration or the second random access configuration.
