Abstract:
An integrated circuit (IC) has logic and timing circuits that are coupled to discrete circuitry to provide protection and indications whenever an AC adapter that is faulty or has improper voltage levels or polarity are plugged into a system. In particular, the IC device provides over-voltage, under-voltage, and reversed-polarity protections to an electronic system to keep the electronic system from being damaged by an alternating current (AC) adapter having an improper voltage range or voltage polarity. It also provides a protection that prevents an adapter from powering a host system that has a short-circuit fault.
Abstract:
A hand pump includes an automatic inflation device and a manual inflation device. The automatic inflation device includes a gas container containing pressurized gas for providing automatic and rapid inflation. When the automatic inflation device malfunctions or the gas container runs out of gas, the manual inflation device can be manually operated for inflation.

The stem has an operative portion outside the main body for manual operation. When the switch member is in a first position, the end cap is engageable with the valve of a first type. When the switch member is in a second position, the end cap is engageable with the valve of a second type.
Abstract:
A clamp device for a hand air pump includes a sleeve including a first end securely attached to an output end of a cylinder of the hand air pump and a second end for receiving a valve of an article to be inflated, a plug mounted in the sleeve, a protective ring mounted between the sleeve and the plug such that the plug does not move when the sleeve rotates, and a nozzle communicating the output end of the cylinder with an interior of the sleeve.
Abstract:
A manual air pump includes an outer tube and an inner tube coaxially mounted in the outer tube. An inner chamber is defined in the inner tube. An outer chamber is defined between the outer tube and the inner tube. A head is coupled to first ends of the inner and outer tubes. The head includes a main passage communicated with the inner chamber and the outer chamber for supplying air to an object to be inflated. An inner piston rod has a first end with an inner piston slidably received in the inner chamber. The inner piston separates the inner chamber into a first chamber section adjacent to the head and a second chamber section distal to the head. An outer piston rod has a first end with an outer piston slidably received in the outer chamber. The outer piston separates the outer chamber into a third chamber section adjacent to the head and a fourth chamber section distal to the head. A handle is secured to second ends of the inner and outer piston rods to move therewith. A release passage is provided for communicating one of the first chamber section and the third chamber section with environment. A switchable valve is mounted in the release passage, wherein the release passage is blocked when the switchable valve is in a first status for high volume/low pressure pumping, and wherein the release passage is opened when the switchable valve is in a second status for high pressure/low volume pumping in which air is only flowable from the one of the first chamber section and the third chamber section to environment.
Abstract:
A tire inflator includes a head portion with a cylinder extending transversely therefrom which communicates with an interior of the head portion via a first passage in which a uni-directional valve is disposed, a disk member slidably received in the head portion, a release valve disposed to the head portion and two receivers respectively received in two open ends of the head portion. The disk member has a radial recess defined radially therein and a slot define in one of two ends thereof and which communicates with the radial recess.
Abstract:
A pumping device includes a main body having a passage defined therein through which air passes and a head connected to the main body. A retainer is slidably received in the head and includes a first compartment defined therein for receiving a spring. An end of the retainer includes a conical recess defined therein. A nozzle is slidably mounted in the end of the retainer and includes an end attached to the spring. A nozzle head is securely mounted in an end of the head and includes a second compartment defined therein and in communication with the first compartment via the nozzle. The nozzle head includes a hollow conical section for engaging with the conical recess of the retainer. A lever is provided for switching the retainer between a first operative position in which the first compartment communicates with the passage and a second inoperative position in which the first compartment does not communicate with the passage.
Abstract:
A hand pump includes a cylindrical member having a cap secured on top and a cover securing the cap to the cylindrical member. A large piston is slidably engaged in the cylindrical member and a barrel secured to the large piston. A small piston is slidably engaged in the barrel for pumping air into the cylindrical member and the cover. The small piston may pump a low air pressure when the barrel is not secured to the cylindrical member and may pump a high air pressure when the barrel is secured to the cylindrical member.
Abstract:
An electric air pump includes a power unit and an inflating unit. The power unit includes a first housing and a motor. The inflating unit includes a second housing and an eccentric cam member. The power unit is configured to connect to the inflating unit in either a first position or a second position. When the power unit is in the first position, the motor is detached from the eccentric cam member. When the power unit is in the second position, the motor is connected to the eccentric cam member.
Abstract:

The pressing device includes an airtight ring and a clamping member. The clamping member includes a base and a first claw. The first claw includes a first clamping arm, a first pressing portion, a second clamping arm, and a first hollow portion. The first clamping arm is connected to the base. The first pressing portion is connected to an end of the first clamping arm opposite to the base. The second clamping aim is connected to the first pressing portion. The first hollow portion is disposed between the first clamping arm and the second clamping arm. The first pressing portion is movable towards the longitudinal axis and to squeeze and deform the airtight ring.
