    摘要: A valve connector comprises a body including an inlet port, an outlet port defining a longitudinal axis,at least one aperture extending between an exterior surface of the body and the outlet port. The valve connector also comprises a sleeve arranged about the exterior surface of the body and movable relative to the body between a clamping position and a release position and a biasing member applying a biasing force against the sleeve towards the clamping position. The valve connector further comprises a clamping mechanism including at least one clamping member arranged at least partially within the aperture. When the valve is received in the outlet port, the clamping member is inwardly displaceable into the outlet port in response to the biasing force biasing the sleeve toward the clamping position, such that the clamping member engages the valve.

    摘要: A push-to-press inflation adaptor is provided for use with an English valve and includes a valve connector, a connection barrel, a coupler, an air tube, and a spring. The valve connector includes a first movement hole, a positioning cavity, a communication compartment, a valve opening and a constraint opening. The connection barrel is coupled to the valve connector. The connection barrel includes a second movement hole and an air tube opening. The coupler is received in the first movement hole and the second movement hole of the valve connector and the connection barrel and is reciprocally movable through application of a force thereto. The air tube is received through the air tube opening into the connection barrel to be jointed to the coupler. The spring is supported between the coupler and the connection barrel to provide a preloading force to bias the coupler in a direction toward the constraint opening.

    摘要: A rotary transmission leadthrough as part of a vehicle tire pressure regulating system, comprising a rotor structural group that can be connected in a torque-connected manner to a shaft of the vehicle which supports a wheel, and a stator structural group stationarily mounted opposite the rotary movement of the rotor structural group. A sealable conduit between the rotor structural group and the stator structural group is a path for transferring gas from the stator structural group to the rotor structural group and/or the inverse to regulate tire pressure. The rotor structural group is multipartite. A first rotor part is a closed annular body that can be pushed on the vehicle shaft. A second rotor part mounted axially to the first rotor part and connected to it in a torque-connected manner is designed as a tensioning ring for connecting the rotor structural group to the vehicle shaft in a torque-connected manner.

The pyrotechnic material generates an inflating gas upon burning to inflate a tire without a source of stored fluid. The ignitor mechanism is located adjacent to the pyrotechnic material to ignite and cause the pyrotechnic material to burn. The pressure vessel holds the pyrotechnic material. The pressure vessel has a tire end and a pyrotechnic end. The nozzle is mounted on the tire end of the pressure vessel. The nozzle is adapted to be connected directly to a valve of the tire. The nozzle includes a combined connection for the tire valve and initator for convening the chain reaction which will automatically result in the inflation of the tire on connection of the inflator to the tire.

    摘要: A tire inflator includes a pressure vessel filled with non-flammable compressed gas. A tubular valve housing is secured within the inflator outlet and includes radial ports opening to the bore of the housing and located adjacent an outer apertured end wall. A tubular valve body is slidable within the housing bore and includes a conventional tire valve. The inner ends of the housing and valve body each include a slightly raised rib in concentric relationship. A rupturable diaphragm secured to the ribs locates the valve body relative to the housing and seals the space therebetween. Over pressure in the vessel ruptures the diaphragm between the valve body and housing and moves the valve body outwardly into engagement with the end wall of the housing. The pressure fluid within the pressure vessel escapes to atmosphere through the space between the valve body and housing and through the radial ports.

    摘要: Frequently, the valve stem assembly of a tubeless tire is bent away from its valve plug, seated rigidly in the wheel flange, and an incipient crack occurs at the base of the valve stem which later grows and develops a path for a slow leak in the tire requiring valve replacement. The replacement operation now requires the entire removal of the tire in order to remove the valve plug from the wheel flange and the insertion of a new valve stem assembly. This work takes time to accomplish and costs money. Possessed of the instant invention, the vehicle operator simply breaks off the broken valve stem, leaving the valve plug seated in the wheel flange with its center hole, then carefully pushes the nose tip assembly of the replacement valve stem assembly into the center hole until the anchor tees are clear of the center hole and drop crosswise of the center hole preventing removal. The sealing nut is then tightened by hand. It air seals the Instant Valve Insert to the broken off top of the old valve plug, while drawing the anchor tees lightly against the bottom of the old valve plug and air-sealing the nosetip in the new valve stem by means of a rubber washer. The follower nut is then tightened against the lock washer and sealing nut to prevent any loosening of the new Instant Valve Insert. The tubeless tire is then reinflated to the desired tire pressure. The old valve cap and the old valve spring assembly are salvaged as both are reuseable. You are ready to roll once again. The whole job may be done in an instant by the vehicle operator as long as there is a source of compressed air available or a tire pump in a pinch.
