    摘要： In a copier which is an image-forming apparatus comprising a photoconductor 1, a developing apparatus 4, transfer apparatus 5 which transfers a toner image formed on the photoconductor 1 to a transfer material by heat and pressure using a transfer roller 52, and a fixing apparatus which fixes the toner image transferred to the transfer material, on the transfer material, a heater 56, temperature detection apparatus 57 and temperature control apparatus are provided which controls the temperature to within a range of from the glass transition temperature (Tg) to the softening temperature (Tm) of the toner, and lower than the fixing temperature of the fixing apparatus 7.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: an image bearing member; a charger; an irradiator; a development device having an accommodation unit to accommodate toner to obtain a visible image; a transfer device; and a fixing device to fix the visible image transferred onto a recording medium. The fixing device having a fixing rotation member; and a pressure rotation member to form a nipping portion by contacting the fixing rotation member, wherein the surface pressure of the nipping portion is 1.5 kgf/cm2 or less, wherein the fixing rotation member has a Martens hardness of 1.0 N/mm2 or less at 23° C., wherein the ratio of the projected area of a single particle of the toner onto the recording medium at 120° C. to the projected area of a single particle of the toner onto the recording medium at 23° C. is 1.60 or less.

    摘要： Provided is a method and reagent for measuring cystatin C in a human body fluid, by contacting a human body fluid with (a) first insoluble carrier particles coated with a first anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody and (b) second insoluble carrier particles coated with a second anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody, where the first anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody has an affinity for cystatin C that is higher than the second anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody, the second anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody recognizes an epitope of cystatin C that is different from the epitope recognized by the first anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibody, and the first and second insoluble carrier particles are coated with from 1% to less than 4% by weight of the anti-human cystatin C monoclonal antibodies.

    摘要： A toner, wherein a binder resin contains a polyester resin (A) produced by polycondensing an alcohol component with a carboxylic acid component which contains a rosin compound in an amount of 5% by mass or more of the total amount by mass of the alcohol component and the carboxylic acid component, and a polyester resin (B) produced by polycondensing an alcohol component containing an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A represented by General Formula (1) given below with a carboxylic acid component, and wherein the toner contains abietic acid in an amount of 0.01% by mass to 1% by mass: where R1 and R2 each represent C2-C4 alkylene; R3 and R4 are each any one of a hydrogen atom, C1-C6 straight-chain alkyl, and C1-C6 branched-chain alkyl; and x and y each represent a positive integer and the sum of x and y is 1 to 16.
