    摘要: A transmission apparatus includes a frame configuration determiner that determines a modulation scheme, from among a plurality of modulation schemes. A first symbol generator modulates a transmission signal according the modulation scheme determined by the frame configuration determiner to generate a first symbol, the first symbol being a first quadrature baseband signal. A second symbol generator modulates a pilot signal in accordance with a specific modulation scheme to generate a second symbol. A third symbol generator generates a third symbol to be inserted immediately before or immediately after the second symbol, the third symbol being different from the first symbol. On a signal space diagram, the third symbol generator arranges a signal point of the third symbol on a virtual line that links an origin with a signal point of the second symbol.

The transmitting apparatus forms an information symbol and transmits the information symbol using multiple subcarriers. An error correction method information signal generator generates an information signal relating to an error correction method of the information symbol. A frame former forms a transmit frame by repeating and discretely arranging at least one of the same modulation method information signal and the same error correction method information signal at the same time within the same frame, and a transmitter transmits the transmit frame.

    摘要: There are included a transmission modulator (103) for impulse-modulating the data to be transmitted, thereby producing a subcarrier; a subcarrier control section for controlling the subcarrier to be utilized for communication, depending on the amount and significance of information and on the propagation condition of communication; and an antenna section (101) for radiating the subcarrier signal. This structure allows selection of a subcarrier suitable for information to be transmitted and for propagation environment, and hence allows a communication to be performed which exhibits a high flexibility and a high noise immunity. Thus, there can be provided a communication apparatus that can perform a high-quality, high-stability communication exhibiting an improved interfering immunity and that performs a flexible impulse communication.

    摘要: A transmitting apparatus, includes a signal generator that generates a modulation signal by modulating transmission data using one of a plurality of modulation schemes, a first modulation scheme having a higher m-ary modulation value than other modulation schemes and a pilot signal generator generates a pilot signal. An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal generator generates an OFDM signal by selecting the modulation signal and the pilot signal according to the frame timing signal. The OFDM signal is converted to a radio signal, is amplified and is transmitted to an antenna. The pilot signal is inserted in the OFDM signal per a predetermined OFDM symbol and per a predetermined subcarrier and has a lower amplitude than a maximum amplitude of the first modulation scheme in an in-phase-quadrature (IQ) plane.
