Abstract: A plurality of permissions associated with the on-demand computing services environment may be identified. Each of the permissions may identify a respective one or more actions permitted to be performed within the on-demand computing services environment. Each of the permissions may be granted to a respective one or more user accounts within the on-demand computing services environment. A degree of overlap between a first group of the user accounts granted a first one of the permissions and a second group of the user accounts granted a second one of the permissions may be determined. When the degree of overlap exceeds a designated threshold, a designated permission set that includes the first permission and the second permission may be created.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a fusion-in-decoder (FID) based model (referred to as “PATHID”) for open-domain multi-hop question answering. Specifically, PATHID addresses the gap between the general behavior of the FID model on single-hop and multi-hop question answering, and provides more transparency into the reasoning path. In addition to answer generation, PATHID explicitly models the full reasoning path to resolve the answer with a generative sequence-to-sequence model.

Abstract: Migration results in specific action requests to move data from a source system instance to a target system instance. Migration may consume many resources. In an effort to monitor migration effects on source and/or target performance, one or more traffic lights are determined to monitor utilization of resources of the source and/or target. Based on the one or more traffic lights, migration is dynamically throttled. The one or more traffic light may be assigned a status based on how the migration affects performance of another data operation which may be contemporaneously operating on either the source and/or the target.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to storing location information about storage nodes in cookies. A cloud-based service may send location requests to an orchestration service that instantiated storage nodes included in a storage cluster of the cloud-based service. The cloud-based service may receive location information that identifies in which computer zone that a given storage node is located. The cloud-based service may store the location information in cookies at a metadata store that is shared among the storage nodes. The cloud-based service may receive, from a client node, a search request to identify ones of the storage nodes that store particular data. The cloud-based service may return a set of cookies corresponding to identified storage nodes. The set of cookies may enable the client node to determine whether there is a storage node that stores the particular data and is within the same computer zone as the client node.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to a computer system accessing a client credential set to authenticate with a destination computer system. A computer system may, subsequent to receiving an indication to make available an application for a particular user, retrieve configuration data specifying a reference to a key value. The computer system may maintain a data object that includes a client credential set for the particular user. In response to an occurrence of an event associated with the application, the computer system may access the client credential set of the particular user from the data object using the key value and an indication of the particular user. The computer system may then send a request including the client credential set to a destination computer system for authentication with the destination computer system and receive a response indicating whether the computer system has been authenticated.

Abstract: An analytics system uses one or more machine-learned models to predict a hormone receptor status from a H&E stain image. The system partitions H&E stain images each into a plurality of image tiles. Bags of tiles are created through sampling of the image tiles. The analytics system trains one or more machine-learned models with training H&E stain images having a positive or negative receptor status. The analytics system generates, via a tile featurization model, a tile feature vector for each image tile a test bag for a test H&E stain image. The analytics system generates, via an attention model, an aggregate feature vector for the test bag by aggregating the tile feature vectors of the test bag, wherein an attention weight is determined for each tile feature vector. The analytics system predicts a hormone receptor status by applying a prediction model to the aggregate feature vector for the test bag.

Abstract: Sentiment analysis is a task in natural language processing. The embodiments are directed to using a generative language model to extract an aspect term, aspect category and their corresponding polarities. The generative language model may be trained as a single, joint, and multi-task model. The single-task generative language model determines a term polarity from the aspect term in the sentence or a category polarity from an aspect category in the sentence. The joint-task generative language model determines both the aspect term and the term polarity or the aspect category and the category polarity. The multi-task generative language model determines the aspect term, term polarity, aspect category and category polarity of the sentence.

Abstract: A server may support an aggregation service for a multitenant system. The service may support a method for data processing that includes determining that a plurality of tenants of a multitenant database system correspond to a common entity, where each tenant is associated with a respective instance of a cloud platform that services data from a corresponding database instance. The method may further include provisioning a new database instance for the common entity, generating a connector that is configured to access data of the corresponding database instance, generating a schema for the new database instance that aggregates the data of each database instance accessed by the connector, and instantiating a new cloud platform instance that is configured to access the schema of the new database instance, where the new cloud platform instance is configured to serve data queried from the schema of the new database instance via a client application.
