Abstract:
Systems and methods for counting and processing pliable objects are disclosed. A vision system may capture an inspection image of a plurality of pliable objects. The inspection image may be partitioned into a plurality of windows traversing the inspection image. For each individual window of the plurality of windows, a blob extraction process is performed to determine a plurality of blobs corresponding to regions within the inspection image having substantially the second luminance value range such that the plurality of blobs correspond to the plurality of pliable objects. The blobs are counted for each window to determine a total number of pliable objects in the plurality of pliable objects.
Abstract:
A receiver circuit includes a first slicer coupled to receive data signals from a signal path and a reference voltage from a reference voltage path that is separate from the signal path. The first slicer is configured output a logic value based on a comparison between a voltage of the data signal and the reference voltage. The receiver circuit further includes a reference voltage generator configured to generate the reference voltage. The reference voltage generator is configured to dynamically generate the reference voltage based on logic values of previously received signals during operation in a first mode. During operation in a second mode, the reference voltage generator is configured to generate and provide the reference voltage as a static voltage.
Abstract:
An embodiment provides a system and method for implementing a scalable test environment. The method includes modeling, within a file system environment creator executing on a computing device, a structure of a file system used by an application and intercepting a system call from the application to the file system at the file system environment creator. The method also includes generating a content of the file system dynamically within the file system environment creator based on the system call and the structure of the file system.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to crystalline forms of L-malic acid salt of sunitinib and its preparation. The crystalline forms of the present invention are designated as Form V and Form VI of L-malic acid salt of sunitinib. Formula (I).
Abstract:
This invention permits selectively bypasses serial scan chains. Constant or low toggle data is directed to the bypassed serial scan chain, thus reducing power consumption. The number and identity of serial scan chains bypassed during a particular test can be changed dynamically dependent upon the semiconductor process variations of a particular integrated circuit. This enables an optimal test to be preformed for integrated circuits having differing semiconductor process variations.
Abstract:
Robust inventory management for a supply chain network with multiple nodes may include generating a time-phased inventory deployment plan based on extreme samples and dynamic supply chain structure. The extreme samples of demand and supply chain scenarios, and dynamic supply chain structure including one or more resource constraints associated with one or more nodes in the supply chain network may be received from a user.
Abstract:
A technique to send service period allocation from a network control point to a plurality of stations using an Announce frame of a 60 GHz DBand specification. The use of the Announce frame ensures that the control point receives confirmation of the service period allocation assigned to the stations before data transfer is permitted between the stations.
Abstract:
A modular force sensor apparatus, method, and system are provided to improve force and torque sensing and feedback to the surgeon performing a telerobotic surgery. In one embodiment, a modular force sensor includes a tube portion including a plurality of strain gauges, a proximal tube portion for operably coupling to a shaft of a surgical instrument that may be operably coupled to a manipulator arm of a robotic surgical system, and a distal tube portion for proximally coupling to a wrist joint coupled to an end portion.
Abstract:
Disclosed are compositions comprising antioxidants and stabilizers, such as, acid scavengers or organic phosphorus stabilizers, and optionally further comprising co-stabilizers. The disclosed compositions are useful as stabilizers for polyolefins and other polymeric materials. The disclosed compositions and methods generally provide longer shelf lifes and better oxidative resistance to materials than currently available antioxidants.
Abstract:
Sterically hindered phenol and phosphite based compounds, represented by formula I: and their use as antioxidants in a wide range of materials including, but not limited to, food, plastics, elastomers, composites and petroleum based products is disclosed herein.
