摘要: Disclosed is a polymeric composition that can include at least 95 wt. % of a polypropylene copolymer, and 50 ppm to 2000 ppm of an aryl amide containing clarifying agent, a phosphate ester salt containing clarifying agent, or a combination thereof. The polymeric composition can have a haze value of A after being extruded once and a haze value of B after being extruded 2 times, wherein the ratio of A to B is 1 to 1.35, wherein A is less than 25%, and wherein A and B are determined in accordance with ASTM D1003, at a thickness of about 40 mil.

摘要: The present disclosure provides organic fine particles and a slip-resistance agent composition which are capable of providing excellent slip-resistance to a base material. Said organic fine particles contain a polymer having a repeating unit formed of: (I) a hydrophobic monomer that has a single ethylenically unsaturated double bond and at least one branched or cyclic hydrocarbon group having 3-40 carbon atoms; and, if necessary, (II) a cross-linking monomer having at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. Said slip-resistance agent composition contains (A) the organic fine particles and (B) an aqueous medium.

摘要: A polyester composition includes, based on the total weight of the polyester composition, a first polyester and a second polyester, wherein a weight ratio of the first polyester to the second polyester is 80:20 to 20:80, preferably 60:40 to 40:60; 5 to 60 weight percent (wt %), preferably 5 to 50 wt % of a reinforcing filler; and 5 to 60 wt %, preferably 10 to 50 wt %, more preferably 20 to 50 wt % of an inorganic filler having a specific gravity of greater than 3 grams per cubic centimeter, as determined in accordance with ASTM D792, wherein a molded article comprising the polyester composition has a sound transmission loss of greater than 30 dB, preferably 35 to 50 dB, more preferably 36 to 45 dB, as determined at 1,250 Hz according to ASTM E1050 using a molded disc with a diameter of 100 mm and a thickness of 3.2 mm.

摘要: The invention is directed to stabilizer compositions comprising at least one oxalanilide UV absorber and/or at least one (2-hydroxyphenyl)-s-triazine UV absorber, and at least one oligomeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), optionally further comprising at least one phenolic antioxidant, at least one liquid diluent and/or further components. Said stabilizer compositions are preferably used in sealants or adhesives based on silyl-modified polymers (SMP). The invention also deals with a polymer composition based on silyl-modified polymers (SMP) comprising the new stabilizer combination of oxalanilide UV absorber and/or (2-hydroxyphenyl)-s-triazine UV absorber, and oligomeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), optionally further comprising phenolic antioxidant and liquid diluent and/or further components.

摘要: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.
