Abstract: A kit-of-parts for assembling an apparatus for verifying Explosive Trace Detector responses includes an alignment tool and a dispenser. The alignment tool has a body with a top cavity open on a top side and configured to receive the dispenser housing or a sampling medium head of a sampling medium. The sampling medium head has a sample collection area. The body has a bottom cavity to receive a hammer arm. The body has one or more sampling media cavities disposed between the top cavity and the bottom cavity, each configured to receive another sampling medium having a respective sample collection area. The top cavity and sampling media cavities are in communication with each other via a common slot. The top cavity and sampling media cavities are configured to receive different sampling media and to align the dispenser housing with the sample collection area of each of the different sampling media.

Abstract: A provider system is connected to readers disposed at distances from the provider system. A secure local connection is established between the client device and the provider system via one of the readers. Before the client reaches an access touchpoint, the provider system receives from the client device a request for client access, the provider system sends to the client device a request for identification information of the client, and the client device sends client information associated with a first mobile identification credential (MIC) which the client device received from an authorizing party system (APS), the client having consented to release the client information to the provider system, and the client information having been verified. The provider system uses the verified client information associated with the first MIC to verify or not verify the identity of the client before granting or denying the request to the client.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described, and an example system includes a transport bin configured to carry a baggage item and having spatial reference frame marking detectable by electromagnetic scan and by machine vision. The system includes a robotic arm apparatus at an inspection area, and includes a switched path baggage conveyor that, responsive to electromagnetic scan detection of an object-of-interest (OOI) within the baggage item, conveys the transport bin to the inspection area. The electromagnetic scan generates OOI geometric position information indicating geometric position of the OOI relative to the spatial reference frame marking. The robotic arm apparatus, responsive to receiving the transport bin, uses machine vision to detect orientation of the spatial reference frame marking, then translates OOI geometric position information to local reference frame, for robotic opening of the baggage item, and robotic accessing and contact swab testing on the OOI.

Abstract: An online host method to verify hosted information associated with a user includes establishing, by the online host serving as a relying party system (RPS), a secure connection between the RPS and a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD). The RPS sends a mobile identification credential (MIC) user information request to the UMD, via the secure connection, seeking release of MIC user information (official information). The RPS obtains from authorizing party system (APS) verification of the MIC user information received in response to the MIC user information request. The RPS stores the MIC user information as hosted information pertaining to the user. The RPS designates the hosted information as base truth information representing the user.

Abstract: In an example, a subject using a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD) requests vetting by a vetting system, which receives verified subject information associated with a level-n mobile identification credential (MIC-n) that UMD received from a level-n authorizing party system (APS-n). MIC-n is linked to lower level MIC-0 to MIC-(n−1). The vetting system, as level-n relying party system (RPS-n), uses the verified subject information associated with the linked MIC-0 to MIC-n to verify or not verify the identity of the subject, develops an identity profile of the subject, and determines a vetting result of the subject by calculating a composite trust score based on MIC trust values for the multiple levels of MIC. MIC-i (i=1 to n) is linked to MIC-(i−1) which UMD received from APS-(i−1), and APS-i is RPS-(i−1) which verified the identity of the subject using verified subject information associated with MIC-(i−1), such that MIC-0 to MIC-n are linked.

Abstract: In an example, a ventilator includes an outer container containing liquid, an inverted container submerged in the liquid to provide inverted container space between a closed top and an inner container liquid level; gas supply line to supply breathing gas to the inverted container space; and inhalation line having an inlet in the inverted container space to provide breathing gas to patient. The inverted container moves upward from a first elevation when the inverted container space reaches a hydrostatic delivery pressure and volume of the inverted container space increases. The inverted container stops moving upward and the gas supply line stops supplying when the inverted container reaches a second elevation above the first. Based on a breath demand signal or preset timing, the inhalation line opens to permit flow of breathing gas to the patient at the hydrostatic delivery pressure, lowering the inverted container due to lost buoyancy resulting in sinkage.

Abstract: In an example, a respirator includes a respirator body having a distal portion and a proximal portion, the distal portion including a filter housing wall and an open distal end. The proximal portion includes a facial interface which is compliant and deformable from an undeformed state to a deformed state to conform to a facial contour of an individual. One or more filter frames are inserted into the distal portion and supported by the filter housing wall to separate filter media on opposite sides of at least one of the one or more filter frames. A filter cover is releasably attached to the open distal end to enclose the one or more filter frames and filter media, forming a filter housing. The one or more filter frames are removable from the distal portion and replaced into the distal portion to allow replacement of the filter media.
