    Abstract: A transmission method or a transmission apparatus maps input information of K+n bits to a polar code, encodes the input information on the basis of the polar code, and transmits the encoded input information. The input information includes n parity check bits. n1 bits of the n parity check bits are mapped to least reliable bit positions of K+n bit positions of the polar code, and n−n1 parity check bits (where n−n1>0) are mapped to n−n1 bit positions having a minimum row weight among K+n−n1 bit positions excluding the n1 least reliable bit positions among the K+n bit positions.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving narrowband (NB) synchronization signals. A base station transmits an NB secondary synchronization signal (SSS) indicating N NB cell identities assigned for NB Internet of Things (IoT) operation, a specific sequence generated by multiplying a base sequence with a cover sequence in element units is used for the NB SSS, wherein the base sequence is generated through a second Zadoff-Chu sequence having a length corresponding to a largest prime number less than a length L in a frequency domain, and the specific sequence is divisionally mapped to and transmitted in a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in elements each having a length M.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method by which a terminal reports channel quality information (CQI) to a base station in a multi-antenna-based wireless communication system. Particularly, the method comprises the steps of: receiving, through an upper layer, the reference signal configuration defined by P number of antenna ports; receiving, through M number of antenna ports, reference signals from the base station; grouping the P number of antenna ports into antenna port groups formed of the M number of antenna ports; calculating CQIs by using the reference signal corresponding to each of the antenna port groups on the basis of the assumption that predefined precoders are applied to the reference signals; and reporting, to the base station, N number of CQIs among the calculated CQIs.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless communication system.
