    摘要: An information processing apparatus provides improved expressive capability during presentations. Image, sound, memo information and other related input data that are recorded in an electronic camera are set to be reproduced in a predetermined order. When reproducing information that is set, images are displayed on a liquid crystal display that is part of an electronic camera and, in addition, similar images can be displayed on a separate monitor connected to the electronic camera. If it is desired to provide supplementary information during a presentation with the electronic camera, such supplementary information may be overlaid on any arbitrary section of the image being displayed using a pen type pointing device, for example. Furthermore, the supplementary overlaid information may be erased independently from other recorded information as needed because the supplementary information is stored in a different area of memory from the image and memo information.

And the image storage apparatus includes an input unit to which image information is input, a first communication unit, a management unit that executes management so that the input image information is transmitted from the first communication unit in automatic response to an input of the image information to the input unit, an information holding unit that holds the input image information until a transmission thereof is completed and then automatically discards the input image information after the transmission is completed in response to the management unit, an information storage unit at which related information corresponding to the image information having been transmitted is stored even after the transmission is completed, and an instruction unit that issues an instruction via the first communication unit with regard to processing to be executed on the image information based upon the related information stored at the information storage unit. On the other hand the supporting apparatus includes a second communication unit, an image storage unit at which the image information from the first communication unit having been received at the second communication unit is stored, and a processing unit that executes processing on images stored at the image storage unit based upon the instruction received at the second communication unit from the first communication unit.

    摘要: An imaging apparatus includes a connector that is directly connectable to a bus of an information processing apparatus that is separate from the imaging apparatus. This enables the set-up of the various parameters of the imaging apparatus to be performed rapidly while the imaging apparatus is directly electrically connected to the bus of the information processing apparatus, which can be, for example, a personal computer. The connector is coupled to a controller of the imaging apparatus. The imaging apparatus can also include a photographic lens and a photoelectric converter arranged relative to the photographic lens to receive light focused by the photographic lens. The photoelectric converter outputs an image signal of an object based on the image formed by the photographic lens. The controller is coupled to the photoelectric converter to control the imaging apparatus. According to one embodiment, the connector is a Personal Computer Memory Card International Association-conforming connection terminal.

    摘要: A camera includes a first image pickup section that photographs a recording-purpose image, a viewfinder optical system, a second image pickup section, a mounting section, a display processing section, a displaying section, and a controlling section. The viewfinder optical system has an eyepiece section that can observe an optical image of a subject with a light flux from a photographing optical path of the first image pickup section. The second image pickup section photographs a view confirming image from an optical path different from that of the first image pickup section. The mounting section acquires focal-length information of an interchangeable lens. The display processing section executes display processing that superimposes a frame indicating a range of a field angle of the first image pickup section, onto the view confirming image. The displaying section provides the eyepiece section with the view confirming image having been processed with the display processing. The controlling section switches between a first state to provide the eyepiece section with the optical image and a second state to provide the eyepiece section with the view confirming image. Then, the displaying section changes a size of a frame based on the focal-length information when in the second state.
