    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a node, such as a node in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) deployment, may receive information identifying a timing advance value and a timing assistance value, wherein the timing assistance value is associated with a configuration parameter. The node may perform a downlink transmission to a child node of the node based at least in part on the timing advance value and the timing assistance value and in accordance with the configuration parameter.     Abstract: Repetitive PDCCH may be utilized to extend control channel coverage. The PDCCH may be configured to repeat in adjacent or non-adjacent slots per monitoring occasion of corresponding search space. The PDCCH may carry control information such as a grant that schedules a channel for a wireless device, such that the wireless device receives instructions for scheduling a channel at a scheduled slot. The apparatus may receive control information in a repetitive PDCCH within a set of slots. The repetitive PDCCH schedules a channel for reception or transmission by the UE. The apparatus may determine a scheduled slot index for the channel scheduled by the repetitive PDCCH. The apparatus may communicate the channel at the determined scheduled slot index and based on the received control information in the repetitive PDCCH. The channel may be a PDSCH, a PUSCH, or may carry A-CSI-RS.

    Abstract: When time locations of synchronization signal (SS) blocks (SSBs) are fixed within an SS burst set, the time locations and the slot pattern may be incompatible. In this case, the base station may not be permitted to transmit that SSBs that overlap in time with a configured uplink symbols because the base station is configured to receive uplink communications during this time, rather than transmit downlink communications during this time. As a result, the base station may have fewer opportunities to transmit SSBs, which may lead to increased latency due to delays in accessing the base station, may reduce spectral efficiency due to fewer opportunities to indicate beamforming parameters and/or fewer beams being used for communications, and/or the like. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit the base station to flexibly configure time locations of SSBs within an SS burst set, thereby reducing latency, improving spectral efficiency, and/or the like.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine a transmission configuration for a first random access message based at least in part on one or more parameters associated with a target base station for initiating a backhaul connection. The transmission configuration may include information associated with a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource associated with transmitting the first random access message. The PRACH resource differs from a PRACH resource associated with a transmission of a random access message by a user equipment. The base station may transmit the first random access message using the transmission configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.
