Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A source user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a relay UE, information identifying that the relay UE is one of a plurality of relay UEs selected for cooperative relaying of a communication from the source UE to a destination UE. A channel between the source UE and the relay UE may be one of a plurality of channels comprising a channel between the source UE and each relay UE of the plurality of relay UEs. The plurality of relay UEs may be selected based at least in part on a degree of correlation of the channel between the source UE and the relay UE with at least one other channel of the plurality of channels. The UE may transmit the communication to the plurality of relay UEs for cooperative relaying to the destination UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Aspects are provided for HARQ feedback and retransmission procedures for cooperative relaying in sidelink networks. A relay attempts to decode sidelink data received from a source for relay to a destination. The relay may combine LLRs for the sidelink data and for a retransmission of the sidelink data. The relay determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the source in response to the decoding attempt. If decoding is successful, the relay transmits the data to the destination. The destination then attempts to decode the data received from the relay. The destination may combine LLRs for the data and for a retransmission of the data. The destination determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the relay in response to the decoding attempt. The resources are based on a relay identifier associated with the relay.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may partition a plurality of channels including physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) and physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) into two groups, the plurality of channels being scheduled for transmission on a first set of component carriers (CCs) for communicating data and a second set of CCs for communicating control information and data, determine a first subset of PUSCHs of the one or more PUSCHs that is in the second set of CCs, determine that a first PUCCH of the one or more PUCCHs overlaps in time with at least a part of at least one PUSCH of the first subset of PUSCHs, and multiplex the first PUCCH with a first PUSCH of the first subset of PUSCH based on the determination that the first PUCCH overlaps in time with at least a part of the at least one PUSCH.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve sidelink discovery procedures for resource efficiency and/or power savings, where power consumption at a receiving sidelink device and/or at a transmitting sidelink device may be reduced when the devices are performing sidelink discovery procedures. In one aspect, an apparatus transmits, to a second wireless device, an indication that indicates in physical layer signaling whether a PSSCH carries a discovery message. The apparatus transmits the PSSCH (e.g., including a discovery message or a communication message) based at least in part on the indication.
