Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a first configuration that the UE is to use for semi-persistent scheduling transmissions when availability of one or more uplink symbols in which the feedback is scheduled for transmission to a base station changes (e.g., due to a slot format change). The UE may be configured to defer transmission of the feedback until a subsequent uplink resource. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of a second configuration that the UE is to use for the semi-persistent scheduling transmissions when availability of one or more uplink symbols in which the feedback is scheduled for transmission to a base station changes. The UE may not defer transmission based on the second configuration.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving an uplink grant from a network device. The method also includes determining, by a lower analog media access control (MAC-A) layer of an analog data communications stack, a quantity of analog neural network gradients to transmit in a data packet using resources allocated by the uplink grant. The determining is based on an analog physical (PHY-A) layer encoding scheme and the resources allocated by the uplink grant. The method further includes segmenting the analog neural network gradients into the data packet. The method still further includes transferring the data packet to the PHY-A layer for transmission to the network device across a wireless network.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for facilitating wireless communication at a UE. An example apparatus receives information scheduling communication with a base station on a first set of resources in a first frequency range and on a second set of resources in a second frequency range. The example apparatus communicates with the base station on the first set of resources in the first frequency range using a first set of parameters applicable to the first frequency range. Further, the example apparatus communicates with the base station on the second set of resources in the second frequency range using a second set of parameters applicable to the second frequency range.

Some networks, such as over-deployed integrated access and backhaul (IAB) networks operating in millimeter wave (mmW) bands, may experience high energy consumption if all nodes in the network are fully active at all times. Power utilization modes may mitigate energy consumption by allowing nodes to operate at varying levels of activity. A power utilization mode may include a fully active mode or may drop one or more functions that a fully active node may support, or may support less extensive configurations associated with one or more supported functions, as compared to the configurations associated with a fully active node. Nodes may request information regarding one or more nodes, request a change in power utilizations modes for itself, indicate another node should change modes, or may receive an indication to change modes.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) downlink communication. The UE may detect a collision between a configured uplink resource associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) for the SPS downlink communication and a candidate synchronization signal block (SSB) position. The UE may transmit the HARQ-ACK for the SPS downlink communication in the configured uplink resource or in a deferred uplink resource in connection with detecting the collision. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first set of reference signals via a primary sidelink carrier of a sidelink carrier aggregation configuration and a second set of reference signals via one or more secondary sidelink carriers of the sidelink carrier aggregation configuration. The UE may receive, based on the reference signals, a measurement message indicating measurements for a set of beams corresponding to a secondary sidelink carrier of the sidelink carrier aggregation configuration based on a beam failure instance for the primary sidelink carrier. The UE may transmit, via Layer 1 signaling or Layer 2 signaling, a control message indicating to switch the primary sidelink carrier to the set of beams based on the measurements for the set of beams and the beam failure instance for the primary sidelink carrier.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink groupcast communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a beam training request to a base station to determine beams for use with other UEs in a sidelink groupcast communications group. The base station may receive the beam training request, identify wireless resources that a group of UEs may use to perform beam training, and may transmit a beam training grant to each UE of the group of UEs. The UE may transmit a number of training beams using the wireless resources provided in the beam training grant, and the other UEs may measure received signals on the wireless resources to identify one or more beams. Each UE may provide a beam training report to the base station. The base station, based on the beam training reports, may determine beams and resources for use in the groupcast sidelink communications.
