The invention of the present disclosure is a method performed by a terminal of a communication system, the method being characterized by comprising receiving physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) setting information from a base station, receiving a downlink control channel (DCI) which schedules downlink data from the base station, receiving the downlink data, and repeatedly transmitting, to the base station, hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information for the downlink data on the PUCCH, wherein the PUCCH setting information includes at least one piece of information among a plurality of PUCCH formats for repeatedly transmitting the PUCCH, a set of one or more start symbols, a set of one or more numbers of PUCCH symbols, and the total number of slots or symbols for finishing the PUCCH repetition.
