摘要: Communication operation is performed with enhanced transmission efficiency by obtaining enhanced communication capacity through optimal allocation of transmission powers to individual MIMO channels obtainable by spatial multiplexing. A transmitter has a plurality of transmission antennas and a receiver has a plurality of reception antennas and perform spatial multiplex communication through transmission and reception with individual antenna weights being set. The transmitter varies the power allocation in units of a communication channel in correspondence to communication quality of the channel. The receiver uses a power allocation value of each communication channel that is estimated in accordance with a reception power of a pilot carrier included in user data after spatially separated. Thereby, the receiver returns the magnitude of the amplitude of a received signal in the signal spacing to an original magnitude, and performs an accurate demapping process.

摘要: An SVD-MIMO transmission compresses the amount of information to be fed back to a transmitter from a receiver. The transmitter and the receiver share a representation form of (amplitude, phase) for representing data to be transmitted, i.e., a form of converting real data into complex data. In other words, transmitted data is allocated to a signal point in the signal space corresponding to the data value for data transmission. The data receiver extracts an original data value according to a combination of amplitude and phase at a received signal point. The receiver can compress the information amount of transmission data.

摘要: In an SVD-MIMO transmission using a singular value decomposition, the amount of information fed back to a transmitter from a receiver is reduced. Instead of feeding back to the transmitter, a transmission weighting vector V obtained by performing a singular value decomposition of a channel information matrix obtained by the receiver, the receiver sends reference symbols to the transmitter, which obtains the channel information matrix and performs the singular value decomposition to yield the vector V necessary when transmitting data. In the procedure of obtaining the vector V, a noncoincidence between channel matrices in the opposite directions is compensated for, by performing a calibration for compensating an error between transmitting and receiving analog devices on the part of both the transmitter and the receiver.
