摘要： A toothbrush for dispensing toothpaste from a main body or removable cartridge to one or more openings proximate bristles on the toothpaste head. The toothbrush includes a main body which is adapted to receive a disposable cartridge, a brush head, a neck, and a pumping system. The neck and an adapter connect the head to the main body. The pumping system comprises a spring-loaded pump system for forcing toothpaste stored in the housing or disposable cartridge through a fluid passage way to the head. A piercing tube or straw is used to pierce the tight plastic seal of the disposable cartridge.

A compression chamber is in fluid communication with the storage chamber for receiving substance therefrom A one-way valve of the dispenser includes valve seat and flexible valve cover seated on the valve seat and defining a normally-closed seam therebetween forming a fluid-tight seal between the valve cover and valve seat. The flexible valve cover is movable relative to the valve seat to allow the passage of substance through the seam and out of the dispenser. A manually-engageable actuator connected to the dispensing portion is movable between first and second positions to dispense substance within the compression chamber out of the dispenser.

摘要： Disclosed is a tooth brush implement having an articulating head region and a toothpaste dispensing body region. The head region comprises a horizontal crown hingeably connecting to a first and second perpendicular side portion. Inwardly directed bristles from the crown and side portions create an encompassing brush head adapted to contact the occlusal, buccal and lingual surfaces of a tooth and gum line therebelow for cleaning and removing debris. The body region comprises an internal cavity and drive means for forcing toothpaste from the body and into the head region, wherein the head region further incorporates an internal conduit for communicating the paste onto the bristles. The drive means comprises a rotatable drive screw connected to an end cap, wherein rotation of the cap drives a ram element toward the head portion. An embodiment of the head portion further contemplates a swiveling head for angled brushing of molar surfaces.

A plurality of different removable applicators can be provided, which can couple to the outer cap. A fluid dispenser can be formed by combining the container and re-sealable cap. And a fluid dispenser kit can include the container, re-sealable cap, and at least one applicator. The fluid can be, as examples, sunscreen, soap, cosmetics, medicine, food, and so on.

摘要： A dispenser and brush apparatus (10) has a container (12) with a floor (22) and a top opening. The floor (22) includes an aperture therethrough. A brush (14) is received over the top opening and includes bristles (28) and a passageway (32) between the bristles and a storage interior (35) of the container for containing a flowable substance, such as shaving cream. There is a rotatable base (16) beneath the floor (22), and a stem (18) is connected to the base so as to be rotatable therewith. The stem (18), which extends through the aperture and upwardly in the container, includes a threaded portion. A movable platform (20) is threadably engaged to the stem (18) and defines a lower extent of the storage interior (35) of the container for containing the flowable substance. In use, rotation of the base (16) in a first direction causes the stem (18) to rotate therewith and the movable platform (20) to move upwardly through the container, thereby squeezing flowable substance contained in the storage interior out of the passageway (32) and through the bristles (28).
