摘要: A pressurized pen having excellent feeling of using it by allowing an easy knocking operation with small force is disclosed. The pressurizing member 18 includes an elastic cylindrical member 19. The elastic cylindrical member 19 has a large-diameter front cylinder portion of which a front end 20a in air-tight manner communicates directly with the rear opening portion 6b of an ink containing tube 6 and which forms the pressurizing chamber 22, and a small-diameter rear cylinder portion 21 which is coaxially connected to a rear end of the front cylinder portion 20 and in which the front end portion 17a of the pressing member 17 is pressed into a rear aperture 21a thereof. The inside of the ink containing tube 6 is pressurized by allowing the pressing member 17 to press the rear cylinder portion 21 into the front cylinder portion 20 and compressing the elastic cylindrical member 19 in the axial direction with the pressing chamber 22 air-tight.

摘要: An ink reservoir for a Writing instrument molded from a gas barrier resin such as polyvinyl alcohol, an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin, polyacrylonitrile, polyamide, a cellulose resin, polyester, polycarbonate and polystyrene, wherein a vapor-scarcely permeable coating layer having a vapor permeability (P1) of 0.5 g/m2* atm*24hr/25 μm or less at 40° and 90% RH is formed on the above reservoir for a writing instrument. In this ink reservoir for a writing instrument, a gas barrier property is not reduced under the environment of high moisture even if a wall of the ink reservoir is relatively thin and a resin having an excellent transparency is used, and releasing of pressurized air in the ink reservoir and falling of the tip member are not caused.

摘要: For producing a pressurized ball-point pen refill the ball-point pen refill includes a tip, an ink storage tube and a tail plug, wherein ink is filled in the space of the ink storage tube relatively near to the tip, and a pressuring gas is filled in the space of the ink storage tube relatively far from the tip. The tip includes a ball and a holder, and the ball is formed to have a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.010 μm to 0.080 μm. The holder has a ball house and an ink guiding groove, and the ball house has a side part and a bottom part. Moreover, a formula 1.01≦φB/φA ≦1.11 is satisfied when φA is the diameter of the ball, and φB is the inner diameter of the side part of the ball house.

摘要: A writing instrument having a writing tip that responds to pressure applied during writing through the use of a cushioning element integrally formed with another part of the writing instrument. In a preferred embodiment, a writing instrument comprises a barrel, a cartridge with a writing tip, and an end plug with a cushioning element formed integrally with the end plug. The cartridge may be held in the barrel via the cushioning element, which is attached to the proximal end of the barrel. The end plug may be formed by an injection molding process. A stop element may be provided to inhibit or to prevent compression of the cushioning element after a predetermined degree of compression of cushioning element. The cushioning element may have a variable spring rate.
