    摘要: A mobile drip irrigation system that includes a supply pipe connected at one end to a liquid source and extending therefrom. At least one tower supports the supply pipe above the ground, and includes a driver for moving the tower and supply pipe in a desired direction. A plurality of ports are positioned along the supply pipe. The system includes a plurality of vertically oriented drop line assemblies. Each drop line assembly has an upper end connected to one of the plurality of ports, and a lower end spaced above the ground. A horizontal liquid distribution system is fluidly connected to the plurality of drop line assemblies to allow a horizontally uniformly spaced drip of the liquid at a desired distance from the ground.

Pressurized fluid is directed over the conical outer surface toward the dispensing orifice and thus, prevents viscous liquid dispensed from the dispensing orifice from being pulled back toward the nozzle tip and accumulating on the conical outer surface of the nozzle tip.

    摘要: A mobile sprayer is provided for spraying through difficult terrain found in aquatic environments. The sprayer includes an amphibious vehicle equipped with a spray tank, a pump assembly connected to the spray tank, a plurality of spray nozzles, and a controller for selectively supplying fluid from the pump assembly to the spray nozzles. The sprayer has a rugged frame and boom assembly that allows multiple configurations of the sprayer to match the terrain in the environment to be sprayed. The controller is operable to individually operate multiple spray zones in each configuration of the sprayer so that any one spray zone or combination of spray zones can be covered during a spraying operation. The controller also includes a GPS receiver for providing path guidance to the sprayer, mapping of the area sprayed, and automatic adjustment of pressure at the spray nozzles based on speed for maintaining precise chemical application rates.

    摘要: This invention greatly simplifies problem fires above the reach of the longest ladder trucks by using a telescoping, portable shaft extending out of the closest window opening below the fire. Normally, a safe place for firemen. On the outer end of the shaft is a servo-mechanically controlled fire hose nozzle with a miniature television camera, which then both connect along the shaft to the room the shaft extends from. From where firemen can direct water using a console containing a television screen and battery power for the system. Stored in sections aboard its own truck in areas with high buildings, sections which are each, separately, carried up using the stairs by individual firemen, ordinarily the three man crew of a companion ladder fire truck. This invention now allows serious fires in high-rise buildings to be safely and effectively controlled.
