    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel reservation for sidelink. In some embodiments, the disclosure describes determining a resource allocation for communicating over a plurality of subchannels within a slot, wherein the resource allocation provides: (i) a first set of subchannels of the plurality of subchannels allocated for communicating data to multiple UEs, and (ii) a first subchannel of the plurality of subchannels allocated for communicating a group reservation signal comprising communication parameters indicative of at least the resource allocation for the first set of subchannels.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine candidate resources on one or more physical sidelink shared channels (PSSCHs) that are clear for transmitting at least two transport blocks, based at least in part on sensing a plurality of subchannels on the one or more PSSCHs with respect to listen-before-talk completion instants for the at least two transport blocks. The UE may select, from among the candidate resources, transmit resources on the one or more PSSCHs for transmitting the at least two transport blocks such that the at least two transport blocks are transmitted in one of: different subchannels of a same slot, or contiguous slots of a same subchannel. The UE may transmit the at least two transport blocks in the transmit resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, for a sidelink transmission over an unlicensed band and associated with a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), one or more candidate resources of a set of candidate resources that are within an adaptive effective contention window (ECW). The UE may adjust at least one parameter of the adaptive ECW to determine an adjusted at least one parameter based at least in part on a channel access output associated with the one or more candidate resources. The UE may transmit the MAC PDU using the one or more candidate resources or an additional one or more candidate resources, wherein the additional one or more candidate resources are selected based at least in part on the adjusted at least one parameter.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that help reducing transmission overhead related to sidelink control information (SCI). For example, when a transmitter UE has established a sidelink communication with a receiver UE, the transmitter UE may schedule with at least one semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) process at a first time interval. The transmitter UE may sense whether a resource is available for transmissions to the receiver UE based on decoding an SCI, such as an SCI 0-1 message. The SCI is transmitted at a second time interval that is greater than the first time interval. For example, the second time interval may be a multiple of the first time interval of the at least one SPS process. The second time interval may be flexible and may be increased to reduce the number of SCI messages transmitted in certain time periods in order to reduce communication overhead.
